The aluminum planks provide a deck (shelf, bunk-bed.) They can be adjusted/spaced according to your needs. They are an optional accessory feature of our rack solutions.
Appreciate the feedback. Not everyone will run all of our racks, so we designed the bed racks to match the cab's height.
Another option to achieve horizontal fluidity would be to mount another rack-platform on top of our Overland Rack. But that would be overkill.
Thanks Jeep Gladiator Forum. You guys are the best.
In the coming weeks we will be testing compatibility and working on cover solutions. This is just the beginning, much more to come.
Day 2 was a huge success. Received numerous compliments on the racks.
Here is a shot of our front end setup. Featuring:
* MAXIMUS-3 JT: Classic Hoop, Winch Plate, Tow Loops, Winch Hook Anchor, & Light Brackets.
* TYRI Lights: new D18 LED (custom silver bezels)
* STEERSMARTS: JT Yeti XD Tie...
* We still have plenty of testing to conduct post-SEMA.
* Its unlikely that our racks will work with factory tonneau covers, BUT we are working on our own cover solution.
Media Day in the books. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth #30292. Incredible amount of support.
Announcement:
Wednesday we are showing the OVERLAND Rack.
Thursday: we are showing the SPORTS BAR Rack.
We will be revealing more about the install this week. It does work with the factory trail rail system. UPDATE: Just stopped by and spoke with the great people at Decked. I can now confirm that our bed racks will work with the Decked system.
Thanks for the suggestions @rolape2, we will consider them for final production.
@mojocho we are still testing compatibility with tonneau cover. We have built in provisions for mounting lights.
They are mounted on a plank system that we designed. We will show more on that soon.
More information, pictures, and videos will be released this week, stay tuned.
These racks are prototypes for the SEMA show. Once back we will finalize everything and kick-off production. We will post the mounting details in the next few days.
