  1. Do we wave?

    Wave on!
  2. Can Aftermarket suppliers start doing this please?

I used to have a drop-down to add a box of assorted chocolates to your order but ran into problems with heat and storage and stopped, haha. Matt
  3. Glad Grandpa Firecracker Red LE Build

Looks great! Love those pics where its just the truck and grass. I didn't zoom in to try and read them, but are those 315/70r17 or 35x12.50r17? Load rating? I opted for the 315 myself, to get the C load rating. Matt
  4. Glad Grandpa Firecracker Red LE Build

Stowing the 35in spare I hope!
  5. Overland build

I'm cooking up some bedside panels for my JT build that might work well for your rotopax, ARB, etc. This is my first prototype, but I'm thinking I'll make it a bit wider and then make a smaller matching panel for the front of the bed. Do you have a different plan for mounting your gear? How...
  6. BuiltRight's 2020 Gladiator Build Thread

Yea, I saw that it swings, but didn't look close enough to see that it folds down. So if bikes aren't mounted, do you think I could open the tailgate without swinging it out?
  7. BuiltRight's 2020 Gladiator Build Thread

So I've been lagging a bit on the updates, but I'm back on the horse now. I've also decided to become a forum sponsor! I think there's a good chance some of you might like a few of the custom bits that I've made for my JT and this way, I'll be able to more openly entertain building more of them...
  8. BuiltRight's 2020 Gladiator Build Thread

Truth is, what I really come from are fast street cars, so even the Raptor feels sluggish. The Gladiator actually feels pretty nimble, compared to the Raptor, and with the max tow, it zips around pretty good. I'm tempted by the procharger kit, though, so we'll see I suppose. Definitely drive a...
  9. Anybody use a Tazer lite for JT ?

I just ordered the same. I've got a Sport S and can see possibly wanting some of the tazer functionality someday, but for a couple hundred less, I'll take my chances.
  10. New York area owners?

Bought mine from Chris G. at Rockland Jeep a couple weeks ago. He's a fellow enthusiast and was easy to work with. I won't disclose what I paid, but hit him up and let him know Matt@BuiltRight sent you. I'm in Ridgefield, CT.
  11. BuiltRight's 2020 Gladiator Build Thread

Picked up the tires today at the Tire Rack distribution center outside of Hartford, CT. Always love a peek inside places like that. Anyway, they look huge on their own. Wheels and lift are still due tomorrow and I made some more progress on the bed rack. I think I'll save the bed rack progress...
  12. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I'd consider making a few if there's interest, once I've got it nailed down and tested thoroughly. :like:
  13. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Started chipping away at a low-rise bed rack. Hoping to get something in place by next weekend for a camping trip so that I can use my roof top tent!
  14. Freedom panel storage bag question

I was wondering the same thing the other day but made no effort to figure it out. Glad to see this. Also, did you find that the bag for the tops was super tight? Mine seems to be loosening up, but man, I thought I was gonna break the zipper.
  15. 35X12.50R17LT vs LT315/70R17

Instead of using a tire calculator, it might be helpful to go to the mnfr website or tirerack to see the actual dimensional sizes of each specific tires. For example, a 35x12.50r17 BFG ko2 is actually something like 34.6in tall. Others measure larger than 35. Just something to be aware of! Matt
  16. BuiltRight's 2020 Gladiator Build Thread

Oh, I thought of something else I want. I'd like to replace the 'SPORT' decal on the back with a nicer looking badge, similar to the overland or LE badges. I may just debadge it until then. The sticker seems so...cheap.
  17. BuiltRight's 2020 Gladiator Build Thread

Those would be great - I really like them. Another wheel that I considered but ultimately decided was a bit too retro for me was the new fifteen52 Analog HD. A nice option if you want the benefits of a cast aluminum wheel. They've got it in matte black and slate grey. Would like to see them on a...
  18. BuiltRight's 2020 Gladiator Build Thread

Thank you! Thanks for the bumper recommendation also - I love that it has an OEM look to it, but is still aggressive looking. I will definitely consider this one. Wonder if they'll do a similarly styled rear bumper. I'm really interested to see what aftermarket companies do regarding the rear of...
  19. Sport S with Max Tow

I bought my Sport S w/ Max Tow off the lot last weekend. They seem to be available in the NY/CT area now (or were last weekend, anyway).
