Thanks guys. Very reassuring numbers. I don’t have a heavy foot, and I’m still driving it as if I’m breaking in the engine. I only hit WOT during my test drive for a brief second.
I’m still wondering why I barely make the 300 mark. Hopefully numbers will improve in time.
If Jeep offers the lifetime warranty, then its something to consider. I just replaced my generator on my 2010 Prius last week ... there goes my Wheels/tires.
My second fill up range was 302.3 when distance to empty hit 20.
Filled up the tank fully at 17.956 gallons. I do have 620 miles on the odometer though if that makes a difference. I was really hoping for 20 gallons before the fuel indicates low fuel. Underwhelmed.
My goal is to reach 300 miles...
The LOD has a similar look and nearing full production, however, it is aluminum and probably will be a little over 1k. I'm thinking 1200.

Installed my hothead headliners but managed to scratch the Jeep in the process of putting the rear hardtop by myself. There are several videos on YouTube showing one person removal but not a one person put back.
Anyways it’s installed, and I used rubbing compound to remove the scratch. I’m...
For the seasoned jeep owners, what are your preliminary must have prevention mods (non lift/armor/lighting)?
In no particular order I have and plan on adding these. I know i'm missing more stuff that can be done and need your thoughts.
1. Tint
2. Xpel front grill
3. Boltlock Hood Lock
4. Floor...
Welcome aboard. I had the same intentions of early mods.
Sunrider for hardtop - I've had it on my jk, and was planning on getting it for the gladiator until i took the rear hardtop off all by myself. The sunrider is super convenient though and i would've gotten it if it weren't for the easy...
If you plan on using your jeep as intended (airing down for trails), i suggest looking into another set of wheels. I had a similar set (fuel mavericks), and it was super hard to air up at gas stations due to the location of the valve stem (between the spokes facing the centercap). You will limit...
i've had the twill sunrider for hardtop on my previous jeep for years (i was a test mule for Bestop). All i use is Scotchguard fabric protection once i do my monthly wash. It never faded... I think if i never added Scotchguard, it will still not fade. That twill fabric is awesome. It was still...
if I purchased a rubicon, I will have to mod it with more of a trail preference in mind. It’s longer wheelbase calls for more of an aggressive goal.
I was going back and forth for weeks deciding, but in the end, the sport s or overland just suits MY needs better than a rubicon.
I’m waiting for White Knuckle Offroad. They stated that they have a gladiator for mock up but it’s gonna be a while. Gonna preorder once available.
@SwampThing78 i'm still undecided. it will ultimately depend on my future goal with this jeep. I just know that i'm not keeping these oem plastic fenders.
My first trail ride was with a manual. My first time putting it in 4lo - Scary as hell if your a rookie during steep inclines...I was shifting gears like driving it in the streets. Stalling in the middle of an incline is gut wrenching.
With more wheeling time, it will be easier and more fun...
