I live in a relatively densely populated area and I HATE the honking every time I remote start my truck. I have a Tazer Mini installed and killed the tripple-honk for the doors when running but it does not fix the remote start. Some on here stated it would, perhaps that changed with firmware...
Yeah, watching the video on a 24" 4K monitor i started feeling my tension rise as I got to this part in the video. So beautiful, but way up there on the pucker factor, at least heading in the opposite direction.
It's not so bad, the "free" shipping was at $70. so only needed to find a $40 item to add. I still should have gotten it from the start, but oh well. ::?::
I did the same thing, had it in the cart, then decided not to buy it with the Tazer. "I'll see if I really need it...", then after installing it I was quite annoyed I didn't have it. Similarly I also put it in the Z-Automotive cart but never wanted to pay 33% of the product cost again in...
I'm looking for means to protect my door sill and the available options (see photo), especially for the rear, don't cover very much. I have a 6yr old who uses the every inch of the rear door entrance and I'd like to protect it with something. I considered Line-X, but my bed is pretty slick with...
Huh, I've probably seen them but just wrote it off as an electric golf cart. There certainly aren't many of them in my area, but based on the Moke accessories site @jeepstertim posted, it looks like an affluent area car. Ventura is more of a beach bum community.
My wife has a ā17 Mini Cooper JCW and I (obviously) have a JTR. While looking up a history thing about Mini I came across what looks like a offspring from our two cars⦠?

I noticed your truck is on their website for the Gladiator rack, nice!
Side note, just curious, your colored spots/flakes, were those put on individually or is it part of one large clear wrap? I love that it's unique while still tasteful.
Thank you for all the detailed descriptions and photos. I'm just (in)competent enough with electrical stuff to get myself into trouble. In this case I wouldn't have known to use the diode. So thanks for saving me those headaches!
I've seen the reviews for the Oracle lights are not all that...
This is a great build/mod write up. Thank you! āFree state gladiatorā most likely solved this issue already for me, but when poking around under the dash, would there have been enough room to put your USB hub under the dash (behind/above/side-of stereo)? I was considering the same basic...
Thanks for this and your addition to an already great thread. I have the same mount and was wondering while reading this if I could fit a hub under it, then BAM! You already did the work for me!
thanks!
I've been surprised at how hard it is to find wheels with this. There are beadlock-look wheels but few have the replaceable bash rings. The ones i'm aware of are the AEV Borahs, ICON Compression, Alpha, and Rebound. The ICON rings i found not on their site, but from PolyPerformance...
T-tracks are a lot like a Lego piece, asking what it works with is a hugely open ended question and really depends on what the end result is. On one end of the spectrum is t-slot extrusion DIY like 8020. In the middle I have seen both RhinoRacks and Yakima cross bar mounts connected to t-slot...
That is a good question. I couldn't say with a lot of accuracy, but rough estimates would be closer to 50 than 70. The rails were perhaps 3-5lbs each, and the rolled up cover maybe 30-40 lbs. My arms are not well calibrated. :)
I just purchased and installed mine a couple weeks ago and I'm very happy with it. I bought a Softopper first for a camping trip and similar adventures, but I found the stupidly easy access to the bed at the tailgate was just too little security for me. I store now for use when needed (install...
I can't add much besides to suggest that there are many bolt on sliders available so perhaps by looking at those photos you can figure out where the (reputable) manufacturers have attached that rear point.
Mostly I'm just interested in watching this build!
