Pumped I found this thread. Picking up a Super Pacific next week and thinking about the best way to build this out.
@AKID_RBM you should check Super Pacific out. Went with those guys as it seemed like a solid balance between the fast/light/simple design of GFC but in a more refined 4-season...
Hi everyone,
Selling plastic bumper, LED Fog lights, steel skid plate, plastic top filler and all hardware for $150.
Everything is in like-new condition. Was on the Jeep for about 3K miles. Pick up locally, also willing to drive a reasonable distance and drop off if you'll cover the gas...
Hey y’all,
Seeking advice on what would be a better investment to improve the steering on my ‘20 JTR: the longer Mopar LCAs to correct the caster angle, or installing a steering stabilizer like the Fox 2.0 ATS?
For reference, my Jeep suspension and wheels are totally stock with the exception...
Are these the Rubicon or Sport fenders? I like the classic look better, but was worried there would be a big gap between the bumper and Rubicon fenders that I've got!
Totally agree ^
This is exactly what I'm looking for with mine. Better driving on/offroad, maintaining stock suspension geo, able to handle extra weight, and can still fit in the garage.
I was looking at the 3.3's too -- seems like one of the few viable options in the 0-1.5" space.
Assuming you don't have a dual battery set up (or anything like a fridge), could you theoretically wire this directly to your battery to keep it topped off / use it for a recharge in the event of needing a jump?
Check out the ARB Classic Stubby. There isn't a place to mount the OEM lights, but it's got everything else you mentioned. Tons of mounting options, so there are opportunities for dedicated fogs + LP6's.
I like it because it's on the lighter side, and comes with a winch plate.
Also took the leap on a Super Pacific. They told me sometime in May for delivery. Stoked to see how your build turns out - I think you nailed it with the balance of design & functionality. Same thing attracted me to SP instead of GFC!
Thanks for all of these replies. Lot's of helpful info to consider.
I checked out the Clayton kits, seems like a really solid product.
@Clayton Off Road - are the 2.5" kits a true 2.5" without extra weight? I'd love to beef up the suspension without adding much lift (or any at all). 2.5" is at...
Definitely planning to wait until the camper is installed to make changed, but wanted to start scoping some options. My goal is to keep this simple so I hadn't considered airbags just yet - would also prefer a more standard suspension if possible.
@squarefoot - nice to know there's another...
Hey all,
Searched the forums but didn't see a great thread on this. Apologies if I missed something!
I have a JTR that I'm adding some weight to and I am overwhelmed with all of the suspension options out there.
Here are the deets: I'll be adding a SuperPacific camper and potentially a...
