    What was your coolant temp, from what I have been told, coolant matters more than oil.

    Well, said motor would run without a filter just fine, albeit at a lower longevity due to increased wear which would multiply exponentially assuming it at least had a cap on it to keep the oil in the engine. Now a 20$ belt, or a 2$ oil pan bolt, or even the 50$ oil return lime off the turbo. All...

    I'd argue there's plenty of less expensive more important parts on the engine than a 80$ oem filter.

    I'd like to see a new oil analysis of pp and QS 5w-40 to make sure they ain't the same. Wouldn't make sense for them to offer two different oils.

    I like them . I run them on 5-6 in the front and back on the street. When towing I stiffen up the rear 8-9 . I have sliders, a bumper and winch.
