Here's what I installed. A Comet RS-840 lip mount and a Diamond NR770HAB (2m/70cm) antenna. The only thing I dislike about this is the mini coax is exposed to potential damaged, accidental or otherwise :devil:

I'm confused....my device is a simple two wire connection....ground and power. If the "pink/green" wire provides power while the key switch is on, why wouldn't that work for my dash cam? All I am trying to do is free up the direct plug in to the accessory plug and not have to route cable to the...

Is the "pink/green" wire inside the wrapped bundle of wires going to the mirror?? Is that the wire I need to tap into?

I just opened up my rear-view mirror mount but my '20 Gladiator only has three wires....red, black, yellow. Am I missing something? I want to hard wire in a Rexing dashcam.

Hi Kevin, yeah that's the bigger/wider one....mine is closer to 13" which is all I need and it doesn't take up as much of the bed. The bright aluminum has actually grown on me...I like it! :like:

I went to Lowe’s today to look at the Craftsman toolbox a couple of others mentioned and use. I purchased the more narrow one, just wish it had come in black. $179.

Yup, that's rather involved. Above my mechanical abilities and patience. If I can find a willing dealer who can/will do it at a reasonable cost I may do it but for now, it's on the back burner. Thanks for sharing the video from CJ Pony Parts! :)
