Congrats, nice camper, picture makes it look like you are a little high on the hich, getting trailer hitch level is always the best. Blue Ox is the WD hitch I use, works great no sway.....Jack
Get a measurement from bottom of reviver hitch to top of ball, I have a couple that might work , I think they are Andersen aluminum, bunch of us East Coasters are heading out to Wildhobo’s garage for spark plug install maybe then…..Jack
Seriously, this place has been very generous to me , I’ll...
The Rubitrux above has a lot more radius on the inside for winch line to slide on then all the others posted above, pretty important place to have the radius larger, the one that came with my Warn and the aftermarket one I bought both have a lot of radius. Looks are important but function is more...
Didn’t the launch editions come with some kind of wooden sword with the number on it, there was a guy here selling metal versions that were pretty cool! Welcome to the Zoo you are no more confused then the rest of us! What no picture yet??
If you want to edit post go to the lower left and click...
Shackles last a lot longer under the back seat instead of in the elements and able to be stolen easily, you got HF ones so not a huge cost to replace but still would suck. When you need to tow or winch you usually need to open the shackle to put rope or strap through it then reattach, why hang...
Well perhaps if you are really going to beat the piss out of your skid plate, obliterate it, and looking to stay low cost perhaps steel is the way to go, lot of nice steel fully belly skids that will probably hold up better at less cost, at the cost of weight.
Sand and rocks are a bit different...
Unless you go with one of the full belly skids that eliminates the factory fuel tank skid plate, you will not be saving weight. One system I really like is the New Venture full belly skid with UMHW board on the aluminum. They are not cheap, but the basic aluminum version adds only twenty pounds...
You say it is dedicated to the fridge, then use the 15amp, most fridges draw no where near that. Your Iceco fridge should have a plate that says max current draw and current draw, changing the fuse to something closer to the frige max current load would be a good idea. Also just to make it a...
The UV on synthetic line was a major reason for mounting my winch inside the bumper, I went as far as to get the line protector from Factor 55 to protect the line at the attachment point from dirt and sunlight. There are a lot of winch attachment products that cover that little piece of line...
Fuses and circuit breakers protect Circuits consisting of everything in the circuit from a wire, fuse block, wire device and and switches. Yes you have to protect the wire but it is incumbent of the person doing the GMRs or Compressor or Fridge install to also protect the device. Saying leave a...
Mine is a Z automotive sensor bypass. Locker still works all the lights on dash light up correctly and there are no codes. Works just as it should ,as I have said in past you can feel it when it is locked and it shows up on dash. I think about doing it sometime, but would want to pot it first...
No it is a locker bypass thing.
I have mine in my Mojave since 91 miles, and over 37,000 now. My dealer is cool and great actually, they know I put it in and think it was the right thing and will do the warranty replacement whenever I want but sensors were on back order of 450 units at that...
Like a Virgin, the guy on marketplace here is asking $1700 for a brand new in the box premium soft top as he got the dual top version and is not using it. Make an offer tell him to drop off at a Fastenal Hardware store and arrange shipping to a Fastenal store near you for pickup, their freight...
The Mojave spare steel rims have 19 holes, and there is that awkward blank spot where there should be a hole to designate that it is a different rim then other trims….Jack
One thing I always notice the Gladys that run the trails have either high clearance bumpers or hitch skids, proof is in the photo! Nice pictures boys!…..Jack
