Well I guess I will add to the 2,000+ posts .....
After watching this thread since it started I decided to get the TSB done.
First, a little history:
I have owned several jeeps, but none in the last 15 years. I purchased my JT July 7th, 2020. It is a June 13, 2020 build. I can’t say my steering...
The reflectors are designed for halogen bulbs. LED bulbs are much brighter and if not designed for that particular reflector you can blind oncoming vehicles. Not a good thing for either driver. On my gladiator I went with quake LED headlights. But you don’t like halos. For what it’s worth they...
Haha. For sure. I had a system (usually a pair of 12” subs) in every car I owned. So glad to see car manufacturers have teamed up with audio manufacturers and put decent systems in newer vehicles. It’s definitely not the “hit” I was once accustomed to, but things change with age I guess.
I always have to remind myself that the “old” Randy would kick the “new” Randy’s ass ! Love that picture of the CJ5! Brings back some great memories!
I like those. They look like a great quality cover. I have the Wet Okole neoprene covers. 100% waterproof, comfortable and easy to take care of. Expensive but I did get them on sale. Bought them because I’ve always put them on my Jeeps. However, I would probably try the Bartact next. One thing...
I find it amusing that as we get older we are so concerned with the road noise of tires, even measuring the decibels. Lol. Remember when we were young (and for me my first Jeep at 18) and all we wanted was the biggest, most aggressive tires (probably super swamper)? And we loved the hum of the...
My JT was built June 3, 2020. Sport S Max Tow without the safety group. I just received my OEM brake controller that I ordered from All Mopar Parts (a sponsor here on the forum). I contacted them concerning ShadowsPapa’s findings. They are in touch with FCA and are waiting to here back whether...
Thanks. I have a fabfour stubby up front. No brush bar. Simple and clean. The bumper is very heavy and well built. Only complaint is I couldn’t find a skid plate to integrate so i cut off the lower crash bar.
Lol. It’s like texting, sometimes things don’t come across the same and get misinterpreted. No worries.
I guess it’s all relative to how much you use them. Like if I depended on my winch to make a living or if I was a competitive wheeler I would buy a Warn. Not because they are arguably...
Ok. No biggie. But if you read your post that you quoted me you infer that I called the Apex cheap. Maybe I just assumed since people consider them cheap. I have no experience with them which is why I did not have an opinion on them; Just that a lot of people use them. Sorry I took it wrong.
I didn’t say anything negative about the Apex. And I didn’t say they were “cheap”. Lol. Just said they were affordable and reliable. Pretty sure those are all positive remarks.....
I have the Fabtech sport II on my Sport S Max Tow. Its a 3” lift. Very basic. Progressive springs. The shocks are their Dirt Logic with piggyback reservoir. It rides awesome both on and off road. Of course, I don’t have much to compare it to since I’ve only driven one other JT ( dealership with...
I have the Quake LED headlights that are plug and play. No need to update. I also have a Tazer. No need to change the setting. I have programmed it both ways and it didn’t make any difference. I’m sure the Oracles are the same.
Never heard of them. A lot of people run the harbor freight badland (apex) or Smittybuilt. They are affordable and reliable. Can never go wrong with Warn, but they are a lot more money.
