Hit day 45 in D status, so I was able to escalate my case this morning. Despite knowing such an escalation to be totally futile, it still felt good. That vague, totally illusory feeling of control was a nice change of pace.

Ha, roger that. I have not yet reached the blessed 45-day mark, and thus am not afforded such niceties as to be able to escalate (understand that such mocking contempt is stated with the full understanding that many of you have been engaging in toil for far longer).

Is an inference from the emails you guys received that you had 'escalated' cases in the system?

Roger that. I was originally worried that mine being a M/T would cause a significant delay, but those builds seem to be progressing now (or at least more than they previously were). Jeep Chat this morning gave me no indication as to why I remain in D and told me to seek further information from...

Right. Mine does indeed not have a color matching top. Black top/fenders for me.

So I feel like I'm a little late to the party in this thread, but in my cursory glance, it seems like it took people considerable time to get VINs? The reason I ask is I put in an order that went through on 6/11 and got a VIN maybe two days later. That said, I have then been firmly stuck in D...

So they pulled the trigger on my order on Tuesday and I contacted my salesman yesterday (Wed) and he was already able to shoot me paperwork with a VIN and VON. Taking a cursory glance at the previous posts in this thread leads me to believe that I got that relatively fast... Order info...

Forgive me, as my order was placed on Tuesday and I'm just acclimating myself to the process--but how are you guys getting the info of what stage of the process you are in?
