I have the sport max tow. Even with a 3” lift and 35’s I tow my 24ft pontoon boat with ease (about 4,000lbs). I was surprised. I personally wouldn’t consider a diesel if I was not towing on a regular basis.

I drive 2 1/2 hours to work and I’ve taken an 8 hour drive in my JT. While I thoroughly enjoy driving it, my 2020 Chevy Duramax 3500 is much more comfortable to drive. Buuuutttt.....the JT is way cooler and more fun to drive.

Glad you went back and got it. The back seat has ample space for you and you now have a bed to put a lot of stuff. I don’t know how I did it before with my old wranglers. As for the dealer/salesman.....lesson learned. They are mostly asshats! I’m really surprised he talked you out of buying it...

Gasser........hands down Jeeps diesel is a joke! If you’re that worried about towing capacity then buy a REAL truck. So many people are trying to push these trucks to the limit in towing capacity. It does not replace a full sized truck! This is a fun truck. Its a jeep that can tow small things...
