I think a look to see if the Mojave X can come from factory with a Warn 8000 lb. Winch, speced that way might be a different set of springs then the standard Mojave X, and that is the set you would want….Jack
Chad, your batteries could be relocated under the step at your rear seat delete, and getting water in one of those 10 -19 gallon tanks that only take up a few inches at front of bed will help you make room in the bed, if it's going to be your living space make it as clear as you can.
I guess I'm...
I run an unlifted Mojave and wanted a firmer rear with towing and hauling stuff, I got a set of Jeep Max Tow rear springs that have been great. When I got the springs I compared them and the Mojave springs were 1 3/8" taller, so I got a 1 3/8" spacer to put in and have enjoyed the setup. I have...
I think the Mojave hood is steel to help with weight bias front to rear when we jump through the air, keeping the front down to absorb ground impacts properly lesser, (yes I said lesser) trims just don’t jump and if they did they would just land really, really bad. This is the same reason the...
I think you have to step back disregard anything you have or have installed and start with a clean slate to come up with what will become the best for you, then look at your pile of stuff and figure it out. One thing ,always think of driving visibility and stuff like ease of use. I would think...
Very weird, my August 2020 build date on my 2021 Mojave is steel hood, makes me happy! I was the very first Mojave ordered at my dealer, was like a celebrity for a while on the road, lot of people coming up to me to ask about the Jeep……Jack
Not sure you could get it higher without fabbing something onto bumper, it fit and I have a winch plate in there and remote shocks, plus the outside ends of bumper are lower then center. Rated at 9,000 lbs. STRAIGHT pull, seems very beefy but pulling at a sharp angle might be an issue…..Jack
As one who looked into putting the Hydro Glide system from the 392 on my Mojave, Jeep engineers did design the system to put air into the engine bay at the rear to push heat of the 6.4 out. Measured everything with my Mojave next to a 392, cost for all the parts and air check flaps was about...
Looks great Joe, skinny 35” tires and that two inch lift is what you are gonna need to drag my unlifted , skidded to the Max, Glady through Rausch Creek this year! Pat and I hope the boys are good, still laugh about them kicking their ball down that long hill!….Jack
I started out doing that and lost track! I know my winch install added about 70 pounds, I remember Smlobx did a seat delete and made his own really nice platform and I think end result was a 70 pound savings. Might be nice to get two eyebolts where the shoulder straps went , or even something...
Getting someone to give you their take off would work also, I cut mine when installing mine and still have the piece that cut out that I want to install with pushpins to keep sun off winch line. Just a thought….Jack
I didn’t want to use air bags and I do tow, haul and off-road with my Mojave , I went with a set of Max tow rear springs which are shorter then the Mojaves and put in a Icon anodized aluminum 1 3/8” spacer very happy with results firmer ride in rear but ride is still great….Jack
I can’t take...
Henry234 here are some pictures hard to see it all but it is pretty nice there is no power draw on the combiner after it switches, the older version had a solenoid with a coil that would have current draw when activated and also create heat, which can draw down the battery. The new version is...
I believe the Cherokee was dropped this year , so that number going on should really look bad compared to last year , once they are gone. My salesman told me that, and was bummed cause they sell a lot of them at their dealer…..Jack
