Yes, The problems are very frustrating, but I will say the customer service is what keeps me around. I'm currently working on replacing a warranty replacement. Oracle has the best light (aestheticly) but the quality control is hurting them.
Oracle and Combat are the only two viable options...
ARE here as well. Mine's from '21. The rear glass hatch does allow some water to get in. I've got side sliders w/ screens but they don't open upward. Solid front window. Carpeted.
No issues with it. I've added roof rails from a donor car. No real complaints here
My OCD is pretty strong on some things, so I completely understand the desire for symmetry on this one!
I chose to right justify on the edge of the door right below the trail rated badge.
You bring up really good points. I did tune my antenna last summer, but she's taken a beating since then so It's never a bad idea to check that. The CB is powered straight to the battery through a relay. I guess I could check the wires at the relay for corrosion. The radio isn't grounded...
You're right. I did want to be one. Even did it, then I realized I wanted to be a real hero. Somebody has to secure the scene for ya. But alas, I do have to bow out of the stache race. I can't keep up with that sort of bush! And yes, the local donut shop is the safest place in town!
I'm kinda stuck since my CB is mounted up top on the molle overhead console. Any way to put some shielding between the cable and the mirror? The Antenna passes over the windshield frame just above the mirror,
Hey Guys, you experience any interference when using a CB radio? My GMRS radio doesn't affect the display at all, but anytime I use the CB radio, it disrupts the display and causes it to black out and restart. What could cause this?
Welcome! Always good to have a new Jeep convert! If you're going to do any real modifications to tire size and the like, I'd recommend starting with a Tazer. That will take care of a lot of small housekeeping items that you will run up against. Also, bonus it will turn off your auto start/stop...
You're totally right. The 50 foot rule applies with lighting but don't most people drive most of the time in the daylight. The lights have to look good when they are off too.
I'll give you credit for not getting pissed when I was critical. I don't hate the concept overall but....
Its just that the 3 lights screwed onto the outside looks like a rednecked field repair. The build quality looks very questionable. Certainly not $500+ even with the tarrifs. Don't mind me...
