Black painted Mojave fenders might look really cool on a Sting Grey Gladiator as long as you have the black top. Would basically look the same as the black stock fenders but have the shine on them, and would be a one of a kind look....just saying.....Jack
I have a Mojave and have no hint of death wobble , I am very familar with the death wobble as I drive a Ford F-250 that gets it, brand new tires take it away totally for about 15,000 miles. Our company has about 350 F-250 and F-350 trucks, only a few of us have it and it is only on F-250s. The...
If you get Rockblokz with your steps you might not need to get the cutout for Rubicon rails my Rough Country steps are not as long and don’t go that far in towards wheel well, I ordered them without cutout.I have a very long stone driveway and drive in the Pa. road salt they work great. They...
First off, I am NOT going the RTT for now but perhaps if the RTT company says they can be supported by the distance between the rails start by inserting a pair of nuts in rear of track with spacers on top of rail then have the front of roof top tent loosely bolted to them , then just slide...
When I was thinking RTT, I thought the same thing, the roof of the RSI is solid with braces and weight will be carried at more points on the roof then just the four points from the cross bars, and you can save the weight and height of load bars.
I think the problem might be the roof top tent...
Centerville thanks for posting that actually seems like a good option only weighs five pounds would go on pretty quick, solves the problem of water getting in around top if cap and sides and cost is also good. Checking out website looks like the mid size would work better. Thanx!......Jack
Mostly sports and Overlands followed closely by Rubicons in Pa. Yes Mojave are not common, but mine is nice, with options leather, bed liner , tow , Selectrac AWD and some safety and listed at $55,000. The most rare Gladiator is the Blue Mojave with an undamaged RSI cap on it, just saw one...
If I do a 270 degree awning it would be down the drivers side, and across back, in the bed there is a gas filler neck sticking into the bed,on teh drivers side, putting a bed on passendger side might be better to get a level bed, and then I would want that window by the bed to be fully open, as...
One Traveler, easiest way to get real hard rubber is to cut the six pieces of material that goes between the clamp and top to prevent scratches and movement, stick one on each top of the included squares at each clamp location and at rear corners to the added ones, then add aanother of the cut...
These are what I was talking about, see where the cap gasket sits on the tailgate, also the front edge of cap lining up with the the front edge of bed plastic cap. I used the Clamp material cut in half and glued on top of the large hard squares, at the three clamp locations and two at...
THAT'S THE PROBLEM! I'm trying to send a video, but looking at the tailgate you should be on the lowest most forward part which is about 1/4" lower then the rear, hatch works great! I agree they should send us each a drivers side half box for our Engineering talent......Jack1
Beeizebot's looks...
One traveler , give me a bit, after I put the spacers on I must have moved the cap back about 1/2" or more, did all the work inside and didn't think it moved but it means the door is too far towards the rear where the tailgate ramps up, we noticed that setting the cap the first time, too far...
See my friends no way some old guy like me could lift half of the cap at 211 lbs., but yup half of 170 that sounds like how much I was grunting! Don't take my comment as a negative, I love the cap and think it is the best on the market!....Jack
You had posted in the past the Gladiator edition was 170 pounds, is 218lbs. including the boxes, I can't think it was that heavy for two of us to lift yesterday with help from a third person at times. the new weight makes your cap a lot heavier then your RLD competitor....Jack
Just about done, had an early Christmas today also, top is on, lifted with son in law and daughter, did not go bad. I did use the clamp scratch pads, cut them about in half and glue taped one to all eight square pads, set cap then gasket was ok but we decided to add another piece of the...
