  1. Once you lift your Gladiator what JACK do you recommend?

Agreed, though it does look cool.. haha.. It's a good recovery tool Dunno man, I don’t have a Gladiator yet, so I haven’t checked.
  2. Once you lift your Gladiator what JACK do you recommend?

I laughed.. But seriously, it does work well with the scissor jack. Personally I have this bottle jack and it has been outstanding. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06X9R2HMN/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_2?smid=A2V9LR4BHCCZE7&psc=1
  3. Magnetic Gun Mount

That’s a bit of a concern for me as well. I’d recommend against having a round chambered, just in case. I’m still looking for a holster mount that would be appropriate for my Beretta. I’m know I’m being anal about it. I’m still not happy with the options for securing my weapon when I’m away...
  4. Storage sucks, whats available

As I’ve said many times, the DB HD is on my list of mods when I finally get my Gladiator. However, one thing I want to do is mount a roof top tent above it and still be able to open the cover. At least I want to open the rear hatch. Opening the forward hatch would be super useful as well. I...
  5. Storage sucks, whats available

    Hell yeah!! That looks awesome!
  6. LINE-X Bedliner on fenders?

I think it can look pretty good if the job isn’t half assed. I used to not thing much of Jeeps that were line-x’ed but after seeing some really solid jobs, i’ve come around on them.
  7. Uconnect 7" apple car play

It’s not just the phone or uConnect volume. Waze and Google maps have their own volume settings. In Google maps settings, under Navigation > Guidance Volume. In Waze settings, under Voice & Sound > Sound > Volume.
  8. What wheels are you putting on you JT?

I’ve got FUEL Beast 17s on my JLU. I originally was going to move these over to my future Gladiator but soooooooo many people have them I’mm going to look at an old school painted steel wheel. Perhaps something similar to the Wayout concept.
  9. Winch with OEM

I recall a member of the JL forum did this. He cut through his bumper to do it. I suppose you could use the Warn wench mount plate to make it happen but that would require you to add rivnuts to the frame for mounting. I’ve said it before, anything is possible with the proper application of...
  10. Best model for snow.

The Falken ATs are outstanding in the snow. I have them on my JL. I took it through nearly a foot of snow during last years Bomb Cyclone. I had no problems. I have a buddy with the MTs and he had no issues.
  11. Jeep Gladiator sales moves into 4th place among midsize trucks

FCA has never intended the Gladiator to be a sales leader. If they did, it would be a very different design with IFS and other changes. It’s never going to be a fleet sales leader. However it may very well be a sales margin leader with the most profitability. I’ve already seen discounts over...
  12. What are these plastic shields between the bumper and fender?

Those are what is technically referred to as crap. I pulled them off my JLU almost immediately.
  13. co2 for airing up.

@vegas_rubi, how often are you going to go off-roading on serious terrain that requires you to air down for better traction? I ask because a powertank setup is expensive. you may be better off buying a compressor. Even a DIY setup ā€˜can’ be problematic. Valves and regulators can freeze up. The...
  14. Engine cooling

I don't know if they have it yet for the JL or JT but the Rugged Ridge Spartan grille has no slots at all. It's just wide open. That would certainly help.
  15. HYDRO BLUE PEARL Gladiator JT Club

Just did a nationwide search on Autotrader and Blue Gladiators are starting to show up. Note, these are not on dealers lots but I think we'll start seeing them in a couple weeks...
  16. HYDRO BLUE PEARL Gladiator JT Club

I can't wait to see someone's Hydro Blue in person..
  17. Wrangler EcoDiesel debuts Sept 26!

I ā€˜heard’ that the Rubi still gets 4.10 gears. But I’m not certain of that. I’m guessing that the greatly increased torque is a factor in this.
  18. No Dealer and no Warrantee: who would take the risk?

If you’re going to do it, look at the local shops first. Maybe one is certified by Mopar for providing service. Are they certified to perform recall work? Ask them how they get their parts. Do they use FCA’s parts network or do they have to use a 3rd party? Beyond that, personally I wouldn’t...
