Actually quite opposite. I have back problems already and my Gladiator is very comfortable on long drives. The day I picked it up I drove 500 miles home. That was a Tuesday and on Friday I drove it to Florida from TN. The ink on the check hasn’t even dried and it has 2100 miles on it already.
I picked up my Jeep on a Tuesday and by Saturday at 1:00 I already had 1000 miles on it. I like the way mine drives and rides. I picked it up with 12 miles on it and I already had the Mopar lift and 37 KO2s on it so I cannot comment on how it compares to the factory setup. I towed a small...
I wanted to update this problem. I pulled the trailer all the way to Destin FL and back and the problem never arose again. The first two times I pulled the trailer the alarm was on constantly so it doesn’t make sense but I’m not complaining.
You can talk till you are blue in the face but you will never convince me that 16 PSI on the highway is safe or smart. You mentioned that load charts are just data points but they are NOT just data points for a tire. They are data points that have been tested and verified by the manufacturer...
I know that and that is what I told the dealership I would do this morning when I talked to them. BUT like I said I wanted to check and see if anyone else had the problem and if there was an easy fix.
I can turn it off but I don’t want to. You are supposed to be able to tow a trailer with it on. Turning it off only treats a symptom and not the problem.
That was my plan but we are leaving on vacation this evening so I will either take it to a dealership in FL or just wait till we get back home. I was hoping that someone else had an easy fix so that I didn't have to stare at that warning light for 8 hours tomorrow.
The title says it all. I have my trailer hooked up and the blind spot monitor thinks that there is a vehicle in the blind spot. My guess is that the radar is aimed wrong but wanted to run it by the internet before I went out to the truck with a crow bar and a hammer to adjust the tail lights.
I am fine with the mirrors. What I am not fine with is the fact that since I am towing a trailer the radar thinks that there is always something in my blind spot. I did read the manual and neither the blind spot monitoring section or towing section mention that a trailer will disturb the...
I have a small 5x8 enclosed trailer and the driver side blind spot monitor is constantly picking up the trailer. Anyone else having this problem? Right side is fine.
I don't know how many Gladiators they build in a day BUT I would bet my house that the parts store doesn't even have enough bumpers in stock to support production for even a couple hours if not shorter. Spare parts and full scale production are a huge difference.
Did anyone who is commenting actually consult the "load inflation table" for their particular tire? ...Neither did I because I couldn't find one for the 37x12.5r17 tires I put on my Gladiator. When I picked it up the tire pressures were (clockwise from left front) 38,41,38,36. Drove like...
Any updates on this subject? I am in need of a cab cover too since my house is under construction so the Gladiator is just under a carport. Storms blow pretty hard around here and it can get wet even when under the carport.
Once the deal is ready it is sent over to the business office for the details. As it turned out the lady in question was off yesterday so Travis was both the Sales Manager and the Finance Manager so he took care of everything, My flight was 4 hours late and they still picked me up at the...
Thanks! These things really draw attention to themselves. I went into the grocery store for my daily provisions and when I came out there was a guy taking pictures of it. Really nice guy who is the leader of a 4wd club here in Middle TN.
