Ordered them through El Ray motorsports, we'll see if they ship this week, if they're out of stock I'll request a refund. If there's any issues I payed through paypal so I'll use the buyers protection incase they're not on the up and up.
You'll want manual disconnects, so something like the Terraflex/JKS /Metalcloak/Rough Country/Synergy disconnects etc. These you just pull a pin at the bottom of the link and rotate it out of the way. Some of these kits will have a holding pin to place the link, some use straps, others you will...
I bought my Sport used so Firecracker Red is what I got, and I definitely love the color.
But if I had to replace it I would want a Maxtow sport in one of my top three colors with black roof and fenders:
1. Nacho.
2. Hydro Blue.
3. Firecracker Red (honorable mention to Punkin)
They're about dead even, I'll try to get a photo this weekend, by the time I get back from work it's dark and it wont show on the camera.
One thing to keep in mind is the install uses the body mount bolts, and there's been a few incidents with people shearing them because they have red locktite...
I would recommend the Rock hard 4x4 sliders, they come in both angled up and down flavors. I bought angled down so that I could use them as a step, they work great!
Love the color BTW, wish mine were Nacho, but the price was to good to pass up.
Anyone have any recommendations for paint matching the frame? I had bought a pair of Mojave shocks on the forums a few months ago and everything more or less bolted up, just one small issue here, turns out they trim the frame at the factory. (Please ignore the loose bracket, I have some new...
I believe those shocks are close to the ones on the Mojave, I've got a set and it's night and day difference! I can run through the dunes out here at 35 all day long and not feel a bump.
Great upgrade.
I'm in the leaking rear window group, they're processing the warranty claim right now. Although I've heard horror stories regarding the replacements and I don't want to re-buy my decals on the back window. I'm tempted to try the fixes other users on the forum have posted.
Trying my luck with warranty work for the infamous 2020 rear window leak, we'll see how that goes.
Also fixing the previous owners hack job on the front fog harness for the pod lights, they decided they didn't want to spend the 20 bucks for a factory plug and harness to properly splice...
I've got the same issue, have any of you guys had any luck with warranty work for the leaks?
I bought my truck used, so I'm not sure if I still even qualify for the factory warranty, even though I only have 29k on the clock, so I may need to seal it myself. Thankfully it doesn't rain much here...
I haven't seen much on the market as far as sequential LED signal lights, most are going to be this slim fender chop LED type.
Given that the Sport fenders are shorter, its a bit tricky to change the actual housings as most seem to be made for the Rubicon models which are taller and therefore...
