I would estimate this is fairly normal. With the temp and the inclines. My v6 Silverado would run around that pulling the camper. I can't say for certain as far as the oil temp but the coolant and trans temp seem spot on.
First fit up went well. They got the OK from me to get completed. We were mainly worry about the exact location of the mounting points. It's difficult to get real accurate measurements. Bolts were just pushed it to check alignment.
Lol yeah they are full length step bars. This would be the main tube and hangers tacked on (upside down). They will be similar to Nfab with tube steps.
Lol not sure how long you would have to wait I've had them in the shop now a couple months. I do some occasional design work for them so I am getting these made at an extreme discount. Just the lead time is the biggest hang up.
The JL are short from the front fender to the rear door they fit and I believe bolt on but you are left with about 12-16" bare spoot to the end of the cab.
Had some progress on my steps made. The shop finally got someone on the brake and we made our first hanger. Noticed that there is some variance in a couple of the hanger locations and we'll have to massage the part in a couple locations. Overall satisfied with the outcome. Looking forward to...
I cruise 55-60 all the time in 6th gear. We have hills around here and at cruising it maintains but you are not going to pass anyone. I'm not really sure what people are doing or expect out of 5th and 6th but they are overdrive gears and are for cruising the drop the RPMs down around 1600 or...
Not sure what the specifics are on these and putting them on an Overland. I think I read something about the Overland fog covers on the back of the bumper were different.

I don't think I can see Jeep over taking the Toyota, Chevy, or Ford. Those all have a 2 door 2 wheel drive version and Jeep lacks that. So as far as units sold Jeep will almost certainly be less than the others.
I can't say I'm excited for winter but I'm looking forward to seeing how it handles the snow. The stock Bridgestone Dueler ATs don't look like much but there is plenty of siping that I'm confident that it should handle snow well. I had Cooper ATs on the Silverado which were pretty solid. I...
This sounds like the issue I had with mine the day I took mine home. I discovered a linkage popped out and was easily put in place. I imagine it wasn't probably seated in the build and after the right time it popped off completely
