You have to switch two wires to match the JT.
I mounted my Redarc dial in the cigarette lighter hole, no drilling.

I think it was Wxman, a member here compared the part number on the tag of the spring to the number on a Sport.
You could PM him and he should be able to give you an answer.
The springs in the Max Tow I've read here somewhere are a stronger spring to allow increased tongue weight.

If you are only going to need it to move kids to school and such, why don't you just rent one? To move kids it will need room for furniture. If you don't know what you'll need it for next, you don't know what size you'll need.
