  3. Has anyone modified their Rock Rails by welding on step bars (like this)?

    ...and while I admittedly know very little about welding something like this together in terms of strength, it seems like a great work around. Has anyone done this? Why would this be a bad idea? Any thoughts on adding a thin metal top cover to look something like the Rubi Steps made by Maximus-3?

    How did removal from the top of the speaker bar and rerouting the antenna wire go? Did Maximus include instructions? I’ve got an AluCab Camper on order so this is at the top of my prep list. I use the XM daily.

    I'm very happy with my Maximus 3 full height. It's super light and super strong. I didnt want to loose my mirror visibility as I back out of a blind driveway every morning. Lack of visibility makes things feel a little claustrophobic.
