2020 Sport S power windows and locks. Warn 10K winch, aux lighting. Battery lasted 42 months 65K miles. Could have lasted longer but was leaving on a three week road trip so replaced it too avoid potential problems. Some people blame all the issues on the small battery, I wonder why it really...
here is the scoop. 2020 gladiator, mint condition, v6 gas motor with 20,000 miles. we are at the end of our rope on trying to figure pout what is wrong with this thing. the aux battery gave us fits, replaced it with a good expensive one, problems i guess went away and then started to come back...
2020 gladiator owner with 40k+ miles including plenty of off road and very difficult trails. Zero problems so far. Was one of my favorite all time purchases.
I feel with any used vehicle, a pre-purchase inspection is a must.
It also looks like it is the GATOR paint. That was a color only offered in 2020. I also got mine in 2020 a pre pandemic build. I have had only a few problems but hope I never have to get rid of it. I also have the extended warranty, something you should look into.
2020 Overland with tow package, no mods. 7,500 of our 44,000 miles have been towing our 19’ 3,500 pounds (dry) Gulfstream. No problems. Handles fine with an Equalizer tow/weight distribution hitch. Making our 4th 1,700 mile round trip to Florida this May. Cruise at 60 to 65 mph.
Problems like yours is a big part of what drove me to using a single battery.
Peace of mind at last! Replaced main battery with a premium H7/Group 94 battery | Jeep Gladiator (JT) News, Forum, Community - JeepGladiatorForum.com
Sadly, JC isn't in a position to answer any of that. They aren't in that level of support, etc.
They are more like the helpdesk for IT problems, or can point you in the right direction, but they can't tell anything about parts availability, who has them, when anyone will have them, numbers and...
It's stupid simple.
On a 2020 the larger ground cable will be the one to the aux, but even then it's really easy to tell if you detached the wrong one, because nothing will work.
In which case you put that one back and remove the other one.
The only thing I got wrong when I made this video was...
I just put Autolite's in my 2020 Dodge Challenger 3.6 . They are Great . I Never liked Champions , They are Horrible, had 101 K miles . I Have a Gladiator , Make sure you get the Gasket set for the Manifold . six square donuts . about $36.00 . I am retired Mercedes Benz Master Tech. Always had...
Hoping someone can give some insight on this issue with my 2020 Gladiator…
1. A few months ago, my auto stop quit working, but I never got an aux battery warning light on the dash. No big deal.
2. Shortly after, I started getting key fob not detected and have to use the fob to push the...
I have a 2020 and feel so lucky. I have had no problems with it for over a year. ESS works fine but I keep it off with Tazer since it’s a stupid idea. I’ve had no codes or dead batteries. Great customer service as well. Answered my questions really quick when I was installing.
I would say get a middle to late 2021 model or later. The 2020 models had higher instances of misfire issue, rear window leak and the early aluminum steer boxes that had loose steering issues. Late 2020 to early 2021 models had the leaking rear axle issue with a few stragglers later. Vast...
I’m guessing it’s the BCM like the dealer said. They can be finicky, and the halo likely doesn’t draw enough power to be switched with a relay. It could be powered directly from the bus.
Multi meter the output on the halo’s wire and see if it shows voltage. I doubt it, but there may be an...
Youse guys write a lot. I have 2 2020 Jeeps. I had battery problems with one of them. The batteries were replaced under warranty (after 4 visits and 6 months). My other Jeep has been trouble free. When I finished my 3 year warranty on it and I needed a new battery, I went with one bigger...
just get an Procal on FB marketplace for cheap and do it yourself. Some dealers didn't/can't/won't get the equipment or software updated to change tire size. which means they also can't do proper brake flushes, and half a dozen other things.
Early on, the dealerships could readily change the tire size with their wiTECH tool uninhibited. Then FCA went to a subscription update service for programing and pushed a update to the wiTECH scan tool that ghosted that out unless the dealership paid a programming fee that then gave them a...
I’m with you on not trying to cause problems, or animosity. If I’m not mistaken in the video when he tried to order a cam there were 12,000 on back order. That sounds like a LOT more than just a few percent that are failing. Even taking into account how many they would order to have in supply...
Admit one’s mistakes.
In an attempt to delete my Start/Stop Auxiliary Battery I killed my Gladiator….
Open the door…. nothing… dead… black… dormant… asleep… you get it… I’m sick.
I read up on the problems the aux battery poses. I constantly had the start/stop inop notification. I decided to...
I haven't really had any problems.
When I first picked up the Gladiator, I started collecting a few upgrade items, winch aux switches ( aftermarket), and freezer. I started with the S-Tech aux switches. I disconnected the main battery connection at the post. I started working o the install...
