...else during the covid years, there was a stock issue. I wasn't willing to wait and I knew that I was eventually going to go with Hutchinson bead-locks, so grabbing something cheap in the meantime from Amazon fit the bill. For Tires I went with the same Falken Wildpeak A/T3W's that came on...

1. 17"x8.5" Hutchinson Rock Monster DOT approved Beadlocks.
2. 37" Nitto Ridge Grappler Tires. I've used these a lot before and really like their quietness/comfort...

Just something to consider , while the rock monsters may be dot legal , alot of states have laws against multi piece wheels . This voids the legality. I love those wheels too tho, but would rather run kmc machete -38 if I was going for that stance. Or have a set of wheels made ( forged $$$) ...
...they are positioned inward by an inch more than the ideal. I prefer a wider stance, and to push the wheel outwards I will run a 2" spacer. Hutchinson Rock Monster Double Beadlock is DOT approved, I know that may sound insignificant to some (I've never been pulled over for a beadlock) but it...
I would love to get together and wheel sometime and I appreciate the kind words. I was going to buy a Sarge Green Gladiator but once on the lot I got mezmorized by the Hydro Blue. You have a very good gameplan for your build. Quality stuff, in fact I'm eyeballing the Yeti Aluminum Tie-Rod...
...I'd like to wheel with you guys sometime. I just purchased a 2022 JT Sarge Geen Rubicon, and today ordered BFG Mud Terrain 39x13.50 and Hutchinson Rock Monster double beadlocks. I'm considering the EVO 3"-5" Enforcer PRO Stage 4 Plus lift with 2.5 King external reservoir shocks. I'm...
...a limitation of weight or wheel offset? - Super curious because we have huge weight variations with 40's method wheels and Patagonia tires is around 115#'s and a Nitro trail and hutchinson rock monster wheels will run 160ish #'s a piece... and obviously BS/Offset can vary +/-9"
Setup looks...
Late to the party here... I just ordered a Gobi Glad so I'm browsing through looking for wheels.
I run the Hutchinsons in 15" flavor on my TJ and they're awesome. I highly recommend for a trail rig, but they are heavy for sure. I'm not sure I'd run them on the street, but then again I'm running...
...of radius wheel height to deal with, thus the bump stop extension suggestion.
I installed 37 x 12.5 Nitto Trail Grapplers on 17 x 8.5 Hutchinson Rock Monster wheels. My Gladiator drove fine this way for a couple months before I lifted it. Now, to be fair I didn't do any off-roading with it...
Too many grays to know what you mean, HA! Have you looked at the right thread here? These are really good spots to see other JTs in your color choice. I bet you can build a good 'vision board' of your wants:
I'm possibly building a new diesel JT and looking for pics of a JT with cloak fenders, gamechanger and 37" with bead locks. My JT is gray so I didn't want black bead locks. I'm thinking Hutchinson but not sure what it will look like. Any pics will help. Pics of any combination is helpful.

It's my understanding that inside beads don't usually blow because they don't tend to have outside forces such as rocks, trees, etc pushing against them like the outside bead does. There's people doing crazy things, probably much crazier than someone would do in a JT, on "regular" beadlocks...
The Hutchinson wheels appear to come with the inner sleeve to lock the inside bead in place, do other brand of headlocks come with the sleeve? I would think without it and just the outside bead locked the inside would be prone to losing the bead just like a regular rim.
