100% agree. Hard top is pretty easy to remove. I have pulled it off solo with no hoist. It's a bit awkward, but not heavy.

Recent updates include repurposing my Harken Hoist from my wranglers hardtops to the JT hard top, grab handles from darksidedesign and Rival hood struts.
...I would climb in the bed and put a 15lb weight on it or just simply push down with my and hand. Had no problems at all. The weight of the freedom panels will work as well. I have since upgraded to the Lange Power Hoist. I have no use for my Harken any longer if you have an interest in buying it.
