  1. Mopar Extended service agreement

I’d love to hear about any known quantities here, maybe forum members who are dealers selling Mopar warranties. I’d be interested. On the Ford truck that I traded for my last Gladiator a year ago, the extended powertrain warranty that came with the truck only covered mechanical failures. There’s...
  2. We’re screwed! [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS. MEMBERS BANNED]

Ordered mine march 11th end of their day (this year) Jeep said accepted order on the 12th. Picked it up on the 12th of April, so I've had it just over 2 months.
  3. Purchasing Used Gladiator, WANT DIESEL

No you don't. There is a reason they quit making them...
  4. We’re screwed! [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS. MEMBERS BANNED]

Did you buy it at the end of the year?? I bought it in March 2024….. We didn’t pay MSRP ….dealer had a small amount off and we negotiated hard to get the most on the Canyon trade. I had my Canyon for 8 years while the hubby had his BMW for 6 years. I told him….. ”It’s my turn to buy a new...
  5. New TSB solution for Pentastar trouble codes, rough idle, and noise

...My build date is before August ... 😖 So this issue is made worse by higher RPM? If so, I'm going to have to really consider an extended warranty or dumping the JT before the factory warranty expires. I drive 90-95% city stop and go, so I'm constantly going up and down the changeover...
  6. New TSB solution for Pentastar trouble codes, rough idle, and noise

...I will probably pass 60 k in the next year and a half, fingers crossed. The wife's only has 18K. Ime on the fence about a MOPAR Extended warranty when hers is close to being out of the factory warranty or just hope we don't have the issue as I don't have any faith a dealer would fix it...
  7. DPF Failure @ 27k Miles

Yes, I had 52k miles on the truck. The DPF was on backorder, so the dealer used my extended warranty to speed up the process allowing them to source the part from another dealer? Cost me $200 deductible. Funny I was just thinking about you yesterday as I ride through your hometown!
  8. MOJAVE Edition Gladiator JT Club

...when I saw that deal it was too good to resist. After what I got for my Ranger, it was only 7k difference. Picked up a 7 year-60k extended warranty too. Attaching the dealer picture because it's still stock and it's been raining every day. Planning on a new exhaust, new rims/35's and tint to...
  9. Purchasing Used Gladiator, WANT DIESEL

...to do something. I know that I'm replacing it with a used Gladiator Rubicon, just not sure what engine yet, going to purchase an extended warranty as well. Wanted a new one but can't justify the price. I've had the 3.6l in my JKUR and have put 145,000 miles on it since I purchased. Have...
  10. New TSB solution for Pentastar trouble codes, rough idle, and noise

...issue was, but passed the buck to the customer. This affects my wife's 23 Wrangler and my 24 Gladdy...I will probably get a MOPAR extended warranty for the wifes right before her factory warranty expires as she docent rack up a lot of miles. I am not gonna worry about mine, if I end up with...

  12. Quick fix.

You can't compare the two valve trains. There is a law suite, but they (those writing up the claims) are idiots lumping the gen 1 with the PUG when while the results are similar, the failed parts are different and different causes. It was only a couple hours or so old when posted in the other...
  13. Quick fix.

...with it was the plastic oil filter housing cracking, which sadly was normal. I’m just praying my 3.6 lasts long enough for me to get the cash together for the V8 swap. I have 74,000 miles on it. I have the extended warranty, but that doesn’t matter without being able to get the parts to...
  14. Looking for new 37" tires.

Thanks again @Rusty PW. I’ll do a writeup on mine so others have the benefit of my experience too. Last week, I installed a set of Kenda MT2s size 37 x 12.5 R17 on stock Gladiator Rubicon 17 x 7.5 wheels. Because the 12.5 Kendas spec for an 8” rim (many 12.5 tires spec for a 8.5 rim), I...
  15. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Nah. I have never bought extended warranty on anything in my life. Not saying they aren’t or are worth it. Just that I’m confident (stupid)enough to “think” I can fix anything that goes wrong. Plus my diesel is too overweight. Needs to go on a diet when the warranty is done.
  16. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Buy extended warranty before ypu run out.
  17. Aftermarket, Third Party Warranties: Yes? No? Maybe?

...year before mine hit 100000 miles. The ass clown service guy was trying to weasel out of it starting with "I've got to verify your extended warranty" then trying to say it wasn't in the system. I walked out to the warranty fiance guy asked him to print out a copy for me. Then walked back...
  18. Banging from front end in 4H and 4L

I just wanted to give an update. It took almost two months. But I have my Jeep back. It has a whole new front axle and I now have an extended warranty through Mopar. It seems okay, except for the steering wheel is crooked now. So I have an appointment at the dealership for an alignment. I am...
  19. Aftermarket, Third Party Warranties: Yes? No? Maybe?

FYI. in my experience California, Florida and Kentucy residents can't buy an extended warranty on line because it's an insurance policy and they must buy from a state licensed insurance agent. The phone numbers I posted will get to a licenced person.
  20. Aftermarket, Third Party Warranties: Yes? No? Maybe?

All good points. We're out of warranty, so it's a Go-NoGo decision. thanks for the inputs.
