Nope. I only got the hard top and the "delete" package was added. I'm assuming they are either short of supply or something weird like that. I didn't think to ask my dealer about it though.
I just got my build sheet and it lists "Freedom Panel Storage Bag Delete." Could this be a kitting issue? I got the dual top group. Maybe the soft top box automatically is supposed to come with the storage bags so they have to delete the bags themselves from the build? That's just a swag on my part.
Thanks. I found a brand new open box Sunrider twill fabric locally for $150 off. Best freaking aftermarket thing I bought for the JTR so far!!
Freedom panels came off before we left the dealer day of purchase, in the storage bag, and will probably never go back on. The Sunrider top was super...
My JTR came with the factory soft top in the rear seat in a bag. I have never installed it and it resides in a cabinet in my garage as I doubt I will ever use it. You can order just about anything with any new vehicle specifically ordered, but remember what ever it is, the dealer is going to...
Cultish following? Maybe so. It’s deserved, and good advice for someone in the NC mountains like myself.
Regardless of where you store the Freedom panels - you and your interior (and loved ones if with you) will be soaked before you can pull over - let alone get them out of the bed. Trust...
Picking my new Gladiator up on Monday and I'll be eager to take the panels off. Somewhere on these forums I saw where someone had made a holder for the FT cover bag using 2x4s that fit perfectly in the bed. I used the search feature and couldn't find it so I searched the "What did you make"...
I received my window sticker for my '21 JTRD and noticed a few differences in pricing:
Leather Trimmed Bucket Seats increased by $100 to $1,695
8.4" Radio Group increased by $100 to $1,995
Black 3-Piece Hard Top increased by $100 to $1,495
Also noted that there is a -$120 deduction and the...
That's what I'm talking about. Guns and jeeps go hand in hand. Have to be ready for anything, especially if you go off grid. I think everyone should have an ar15 mod for their gladiators. ?
...quicker than the Jeeps tank.
The 4th 5th and 6th mag dumps were also found to be just as expensive. Further testing needed yet.
The freedomtopbag makes a very nice tailgate mat.
No, that scratch will not buff. And that dirt, is ground into the seats and carpets. And is in every nook and...
Editing this post as I found someone selling their soft top near me. I'm now looking to sell my hard top. Hard top is in great condition too, with freedom panels and storage bag. Non-color matched version. Would still like to keep it around northern California, don't want to ship. Open to...
2020 Overland with non-color match Freedom hardtop. Crossed my fingers and set fire to a LARGE bag of cash to get this ARE top. Finish is factory ARE bedliner-ish color/coating option; I've very pleased with how it turned out. Functionality increase make me feel better about the loss of the...
...and most options except 2 safety and LED lights. The inside of the Jeep was full of stuff, grab bars, windshield tie downs, speaker, freedomtopbag, storage box dividers and bed was full from the dual top box. I am so excited to start learning about how everything works and to get the soft...
Yup, all things I've thought of. I'd obviously be checking up until a couple days before. I'll probably have enough room in my bed even with my gear to bring the freedom panel bag and keep it in the bed while we're out in the boonies
Thanks for the list, and details. So #140 difference in our builds...
...you did a Freedom Panel Storage Bag Delete... so that has to be the weight difference! ??
No... REAL differences were
You had (but I did not)
- Safety Group,
- ACC
... these electronics probably added no more than #10
I...
1. To take the soft top off completely you would need to unbolt it from the Jeep. When you're "topless" in a soft top, it's open and bunched up behind the rear passengers (above and back behind their heads), so it's technically still attached, but it's out of sight and practically topless.
2...
I am selling my Jeep Gladiator Freedom Panel Hard top. It was on the vehicle for about 3 weeks till I switched over to soft top which I prefer. Don't see any scenario where I would be switching back and place where I have been storing it is not going to be an option come Middle of February...
I can send some pictures but it's the standard black hard-top. I did put hothead liners in it. I also spray-painted (yes a masked it all off) the white in favor of black. I ordered a soft top last spring and the hard top has been hanging in my workshop since. Not really cold enough here to put...
Hi all,
I took delivery of my gladiator and in my garage found my 2017 JKU's hard topfreedom panels (never used) with the Mopar headliners all sealed up in the hardtop panel bag.
Anyone looking? Will ship but prefer local pickup in NJ
