I bought these from Quadratec. You can find cheaper ones on Amazon and the like but these are stainless steel so I went with them. Be advised this item includes a top and bottom for 1 door per package. I was not aware of this when ordering the first time :)...
I added some of the guide pins to make it easier to line up when putting the doors back on and to also protect the thread on the door bolts but other than that they stay off
Im not the one you replied to but I have one of the JTops that covers the whole cab. It’s wonderful. I can store it folded up underneath the hardtop. Really helps with the sun and doesn’t flap. Mine is the silver Gladiator on the JTops site with it installed. Have no complaints about it
Already have the wheels and a Tazer so I can adjust for the increase in size. Want the 285/75s due to them being basically 34s instead of 33s like the 285/70s so they’ll fill up the wheel wells. Not a huge fan of the Rubicon wheels and actually like the Overland wheels better. Would have kept...
Thanks! That’s great to hear. Really surprised with the MPG. I’m looking at 285/75 r17s for some 17 inch rims I’m adding to my Overland. They’d be 33.9 so if you’re good with this size then that should be fine and not require a regear.
Good luck. This was 3 weeks without the vehicle of a hassle for me. It is finally fixed but they had to paint the top and did an awful job of the touch ups. I would also suggest not wasting your time with Jeep cares. Not sure they really did anything to help in this situation.
Mine is at the shop now. Typical for Jeep though it was supposed to be done on Monday and is still there as of now with zero updates. Just a hassle all around for something they should get right the first time.
UPDATE: The service person I worked with admitted that they didn’t replace the rear windshield. Story is that the replacement glass arrived broken. Then the glass company that they contract with to fix it advised that when they break the glass it will scratch the hardtop and require bodywork...
Got mine back this week after they claimed to have “replaced” the glass. Still leaking. Not happy at all. Feel like I’ve been lied to by the dealership after being patient and understanding during this. Now I plan to be the squeaky wheel until this is fixed.
