I am selling my under seat box, and I even bought two new lock cylinders for the new owner to rekey it to their own Jeep key. It's possible, and doable.
I'd think your bump stops would matter more if that's what the plan is. You don't want your 37s hitting fenders? Doesn't really matter your lift height. When your tire is at full stuff, does the bump hit and prevent it from destroying the fender? Or does the tire hit before the bump does?
It's my third Jeep... always loved the Rubi/Hard Rock hoods. I wanted to give the Mojave a shot, but never loved the hood. It does look cool, but I just always loved the flat sport hoods, only edged out a little by the new Rubi hoods, so I knew I'd swap eventually. Also I added the 4xe corner...
Well, I finally completed my swap to a Rubicon hood, and the time has come to post my Mojave hood swap setup for sale. I don't love the idea of ditching it, but recouping some funds from this ordeal would be nice.
It's in excellent shape. I've got maybe 19k miles on the jeep NOW, so the whole...
I like that Jeep does these random editions. Mixes it up a little, fills those niche wants... absolutely right!
I love body colored tops, and love both body colored fenders and black plastic ones. On maybe a black Jeep, the black tops and fenders look fine... anything else, gotta be a body...
I get it, but I'd imagine Jeep legal would say hard no to anything super cool, lol... bunch of idiots would buy those trucks, and smash them, then blame Jeep for bent frames, broken axles, etc... then people would be all in the comments saying Jeep is trash and yada yada yada...
It would be...
I haven't taken the lock cylinders out yet, but seems pretty straight forward. Peel off the black sticker on the outer edge, unscrew it, I'm guessing there's a connection inside to pop off. I'll take some pics once I'm in there!
ahhh, okay, that pig tail must go up inside the windshield and then to the box (I don't have it) behind the rearview mirror! I heard someone say for lane keep assist, which I thought didn't make sense! The mirror indicator light wiring would be in the door, and the sensors are in the taillights...
Why do we delete posts? It makes it so tough to follow along! Let people post what they want and let everyone else opine about it! 😂
It's the American way! Nobody is in here threatening to hurt anyone are they? Would anyone care if they did?
So Couple things I've come across lately on my 23 JTM... The small pig tail under the driver side corner cowl, and then this tiny lever/button/sensor that tells the vehicle when the center console lid is open or closed...
I thought/hoped the console lid sensor was part of the alarm, maybe it is...
That's what I had in mind to do! Nice! I thought about another option, having the end of the rope just go around the left or right side of the fairlead, if you were to groove out a little channel for it. Kinda like the Yankum one, but just a once sided deal, not necessary to have both sides, its...
Easy question. Locks!
I have power locks on the full doors, proximity handles too... it's really nice to walk up to the jeep and it unlocks when I go to pull the handle... My half doors are dumb handles, lol... SO.... fixing that. I lock them when I'm away from the jeep, just like full doors...
