One of the engineers is on IG and posted this cool Easter egg. He is super into Jurassic Park stuff and even has a JP Gladiator. This is in the graphic on the side of the JT.
We have had a JKUR and a couple TJ's. But I have wanted a Gladiator ever since it was revealed. We have a Forester, and it has been great as my wife's vehicle. Growing up my family had a few FSJ trucks, so I think that's why the Glad to me is better. I made a detour with the Ridgeline, but hope...
Love the XJ and the slotted mags on the Laredo. The front end on the Anvil 715 looks more like a production version of the FSJ front ends they have used in the past (ie, Convoy, Crew Chief 715).
I look forward to these every year. Looks like there will be a XJ this year, and maybe an electric version of the green Scrambler from 2023. Also looks like they are branching out from Katzkin and using Alea Leather.
I had been wondering what they planned since the 4xe is dead. I would like to see something like a restomod (ie, Willys Wagon, 1978 Cherokee, or Wagoneer Roadtrip)
It would be cool to see an out there concept along the lines of the Mighty FC, J-12, or Shortcut.
Teasers should be dropping soon...
I always wave when driving a Jeep. I was determined the last time we were on vacation in the Virgin Islands to get other Jeep rental people to wave at me. I think I got one.
On the flip side, with my current ride (Ridgeline) I'm afraid if I try to wave at other RL drivers I might get another...
My first Jeep memory was when the repo guys drove off in my dad's Scrambler. He bought it brand new in the early 80's while he was working for Burlington Northern. They laid a bunch of people off including him, and he had to let it go. I was around 4-5 at the time.
