As above, sounds like you are not giving the pan enough time to empty and have not opened the fill cap, to vent while doing so. I have never had any drops when undoing the top filter cover and removing the filter? Maybe I am wrong about your process or question??

Get dry ground on a dry day and get the right tools and go over the 32 control arm bolts, 8 shock bolts and all 4 sway bar disconnects. You can do it yourself and don't have to wait or pay. I do mine 2V a year. Check you sway bar D/Cs. horrible Allen key set up.

my 35x12.5 -17slove the 8 speed. I get 8ths sometimes, but off the line and highway driving it is great with factory 4.10s. 17.5 average MPG right now winter gas combined hwy/city. 19-20 when I am on the big highway.
