I know this is a bit of a thread revival but I'm thinking of going with this kit now. Downloaded the instructions and if I do will most likely tackle this install myself.
OP seems weird you got a kit with different thread pitch on your track bar bolt. You'd think with all the work put into...
Little bit of a thread revival here but I felt this thread was perfect rather than starting a new one, considering my concern is based off both lifts, in question.
So, I was initially all on board with the MOPAR lift for numerous reasons. I was already aware that (although some say it isn't...
To my understanding the 10.5 ones you'd have to trim or cut out part of the inner fender on a stock suspension or on a simple leveling kit like i currently have.
If I had my lift already I'd be on these. Not sure how long it's going to take though.
Technically no full out lift. Swapped my Overland shocks and springs for Rubicon take offs. That gave me A little over half inch lift in itself due to diff eve in spring compression rates. Then I just have the teraflex 1.5 inch front leveling kit. So all in all that gave me about 2 full inches...
What brand winch plate is that?
if you were closer I'd probably be on that. Eventually getting a winch and was considering the Warn plate. But it's pricey.
Look for private sellers on here or FB marketplace. Otherwise, you're pretty much paying rape prices almost anywhere else especially the dealership
Lucked out and got the bumper, skid, and close out piece semi local for $550 from a seller with a 392 Rubicon.
Don't get me wrong. I see your point in the freedom panels being easy to remove. That, considering the $800 price is steep I agree. But I love my sunrider for the convenience alone. Being able to stow away the freedom panels all together without compromising bed space for them and buttoning up...
First two shots are the best shots I have at the moment showing what you've asked. Could take more if need be. Included another just to show how they've held up. But from the side it does a fairly good job covering it. There's a small section only from an angle that somewhat very slightly shows...
yes and yes. 295/70/18s on stock wheels and initially stock suspension too. Worked fine then. I have since upgraded to a rubicon suspension (stock and springs) and a teraflex leveling kit. If you check out my vehicle showcase there's some more up to date pics. Not that much has changed visually...
