Bigger tires, lower pressure, lift to avoid the bump stops and disconnect the sway bar to improve ride. Tires at 15 or less psi will really soften up the ride more than anything else and let you carry way more speed over the same rough sections.
Not even close, there are tons of new battery techs being developed concurrently. Perhaps current tech is reached its pinnacle, but the idea that we cant make better batteries isnt true.
Just to name a few future battery techs:
Solid State Batteries, air aluminum batteries, lithium air...
It's possible but Pre-def/emissions million mile diesels =/= post def poor reputation (right or wrongly so) diesels. If this was pre-def/emissions diesel I'd be in a diesel too.
Those wives typically have high mileage and require a lot of maintenance ruining any savings you may get, plus you never know what kind of issues they have that put them back on the market. I'd advise you avoid them as a money pit.
The wrangler is kept artificially low, the gvwr and the stated payload are actually different for them crazily. Basically jeep rated the 4xe only high enough to clear their 850 lb stated limit

No, unless it's forced to run in a much higher rpm than now, gearing has little effect on everyday mpg because the engine still has to put out a certain amount of power to propel the vehicle.
In something like a 1/2 ton it matters more because the V8 has enough juice to use all the gears...
For a jeep I'd do 10% for the burnt ti look, but no way am I even paying 40% markup vs steel, much less the 400% markup they currently are. My black west coast custom splined nuts look fine a year+ on and that's with me taking them off and on quite a bit with an impact.
Why can't the other stuff go on the roof and bed as well? Battery doesn't have to be super thick, a few inches at most depending on actual roof size and the aftermarket can work around it. The patent even would cover if Ford wants to turn the battery into a platform itself like the pioneer...
Why do you assume it is a heavy battery? People already shove hundreds of pounds up there in tents and racks and crap, a 200 lb removable battery would not be too far fetched and depending on battery tech could provide a lot of range.
Tesla is a bad example as they have already solved the issue of battery recycling.

The diesel was a 6k option, the 392 a 20k option, so 10k sadly sounds about right when you are getting 3750-7500 off to leave it at 2.5-6.4k. I'd love a 5.7 for 5k but if the diesel is 6k the 5.7 would have easily been 7-8k. The lease loophole is easy money, you'll get 7k out of the 7500 all day...
