  1. More on the dreaded AS/S service message...update for anyone else needing this done.

So, I checked in with my stealership to see how much it would cost to replace both batteries and was told it'll be between $750 and $800 to do the job. Most of the cost is the batteries. He said the main battery was like $300 something and, the Aux battery was $299. I remember replacing a...
  2. Dreaded Service Auto Start/Start message...

Well for the first time since I took delivery of my Gladiator (ordered 5/19, delivered 7/19), with the original factory batteries, today I got the dreaded Auto Start/Stop Unavailable, Service...(the system). So, having said all that, I know some or most of you, have done the AS/S battery delete...
  3. Rear View Camera went out...

So, yesterday it was working perfectly. Today, nothing. It didn't work at all when putting into reverse, and even trying to invoke it using the 'Off Road Pages' function. It did work for about ten seconds trying it in reverse, then nothing. Guessing I need to replace the camera? How easy (or...
  4. Wishing Everyone...

A VERY Happy New Year. Lotsa wheeling, cool mods, and enjoyment driving our Gladiators
  5. Well, we have TPMS for our Gladiators so, what about the trailer?

After experiencing that blowout last July on my travel trailer, and the only way I knew about it was a good Samaritan beeped his horn next to me (frantically) and, let me know I had a blow out. Otherwise, I would have never known about it until something catastrophic happened ๐Ÿ˜ฒ ๐Ÿ˜ฒ ๐Ÿ˜ฒ So I was at...
  6. Leaves piling up between the cab and the bed...how to get rid of them?

As the title says. I have a pile of leaves stuck between the cab and the bed and they're getting deeper each year. Now they're like about half way up the bed height. Anyone have any clues as to how to et them outta there? I've tried a leaf blower, and even a pressure washer to try and knock...
  7. PSA...Check your trailer tires...

Check your trailer tires, even the brand new trailers to make sure they aren't the cheap/cheaply made Chinese tires. Mine were only 4 maybe 5 years old with only around 3K miles on them. I was taking my trailer from home, just a bit S.W. of Philly to Massachusetts for vacation, over my...

  11. Whelp...it's my turn...busted visor :-(

Wife's been driving my Gladiator Overland (ordered 5/19, built 6/19, delivered 7/19) for the past week and a half while her '19 GC Ltd. is getting repaired after hitting a deer. So, this morning she sends me a pic of the drivers side visor and, it's busted...it appears to be broken where it...
  12. Fuel Economy whilst towing...seasonal observation...

So, just got back from a trip from home, just outside West Chester, PA to Edinburg, VA (a few miles south of Woodstock, VA) and back. Filled tank here before leaving. Got to my first refill stop in WV, along I-81 just before the VA line, and calculated only 11.1 MPGs. I got to the camp ground...
  13. Steering Column telescopes ...

I was today years old when I discovered that not only do I have a tilt steering column but, it also telescopes ๐Ÿ˜ฒ ๐Ÿ˜ฒ ๐Ÿ˜ฒ I've had mine for over 5 years now and never knew the steering column was both tilt and telescope. The last vehicle I had with that function was my 1972 Olds Toronado.
  14. Leap Year Purchase???

So, because today ONLY comes once every four years, if we buy a new Gladiator TODAY, 29 February 2024, does that mean that one year of the warranty will be gone on February 29th, 2028? So, then, three years of warranty (unless you exceed the 36K mileage requirement), your warranty would expire...
  15. Joined the cracked windshield club...

So, it was a balmy 9 degrees this morning and around 10 AM it'd warmed nicely to around 12 degrees. So, I started my Gladiator (remote start) and let her warm up. Mind you I haven't driven her for about three days but still... So went out to drive off and, lo-and-behold, a nice crack running...
  16. Water in Passenger Floorboard???

Has anyone encountered this before? '20 Overland, ordered 5/19, built 6/19, delivered 7/19. We had heavy rain this past Saturday but, have had heavy rain like that before and NEVER had water in the passenger floorboard before, ever. I checked around things like the passenger seat, DRY!!!, the...
  17. Here's one for y'all...Third Taillight Replacement

So, back in early September, I had to have my third taillight replaced because it was out. NOT a cheap replacement item...it was like $420 to get it done because it's a 'one piece' assembly and, most of that cost was actually the part. Labor at my stealership is $180/hour. In the interim, I...
  18. Final update to Trailer/Truck Issues

I just got the final estimate to fix the issues with my wiring harness...which was fried leading to the flat-4/7-pin. They have to replace the ENTIRE wiring harness in my truck as well as the flat-4/7-pin connector itself. $4,417 and change ??? They're not sure when the harness will be in and...
  19. Update: Trailer/Truck Issues

Well, just talked with the dealership and was told that they (in conversation with the trailer dealership...actually went there to talk to them and test my trailer too) concluded that I must've put the 7 pin plug in upside down causing the right turn signal to blink when the left one on the...
  20. MORE Trailer/Truck issues...post dealer visit...(see last post by me starting the same)

So, I went to the dealership to get my 7 pin connector checked out because the trailer dealership thought that the issue was potentially with one of the truck control modules. Well the Jeep dealership tested everything, both the flat 4 and the 7 pin connector and didn't find anything wrong even...
