Starting to get small signs of death wobble been lifted for 2k miles or so. Retorqued again, tire rotation and ordered fox stabilizer today. Found trackbar a little out of torque spec and swaybar links hopefully that fixes it or the new stabilizer. Nothing else seems worn or loose?
Installed lift last night to Clayton's specs for everything. Was wondering how close their measurements kept everything in spec? Caster and pinion angles?
Going to get aligned today this is just personal edification.
I've read through the Clayton ride right thread and like what I saw. It's still hard for me to find reviews with different shock combinations. I was thinking overland+ or ride right with bilstein 5100s as that is what I have ran on my tj for years. Any input?
Will be in the area for the first time. Planning on doing most of the passes if they are open. Any concerns I should know about got buddies that motorcycle all the passes and I think I'm pretty set.
So I'm running 315 70 17 and set the tire size at 34.4 close to the measurement and my speedo is reading 4 mph above GPS reading. What do you guys have your tire height at for this size?
Thinking of doing big bend with the family. Being from Mississippi but working in west texas I somewhat know the terrain but have never wheeled there.
Any must haves for the area will be appreciated? Sat phone?
