My Heep is already at the shop for a few other issues...they gave me a rental to use. I had these issues as well and wanted some thoughts on them before i add these to their list to fix.

item 1--brakes. i noticed this when at a drive...
i know it sounds odd...but....
I have had the steering box replaced with the steel one---
but steering still sucks (loose). and i am 99% sure they did NOT align it after.
here is the odd part---so if i give it a little jab left steering, it seems to go left faster/more than if i give the same...
So i have the roll up Twill tonneau cover...kinda a coarse, canvas-y type material.
Do i need to do anything to "protect" this? like a waterproofer, etc?
how do you keep it clean? just the usual car wash soap annd water?
the instructions were written in Lego, and had no "care" instructions
1. so the bolt size is M6x1 ---i got some bolts (to use with ties downs) and they only thread in a little bit. the bed is not line-x-ed yet (getting it tomorrow) so am assuming the threads are jamming because of original paint? can i just keep screwing em in to clear the paint out?

1. has anyone tried filling the open cavities of the roof panels with foam? (like Good Stuff)
2. think it would help with the heat transfer?
3. think it would help with sound/rigidity?
the only concern i had was if the stuff expanded too much and bulged the...
