  1. Water intrusion Freedom panel question

I usually keep my Gladiator in the garage, but last night it was outside, and we had torrential rain come through. This morning I get in and start to drive off and water starts pouring out from where the rearview mirror attaches. I have had my panels off maybe 2 times, and that was at least a...
  2. Suspension replacement parts brand recommendations

2022 diesel Sport S. All stock, 90% highway driven. Started mild "Death Wobble" at around 33,000 miles at highway speeds hitting pot holes. I read through the top sticky and have a pretty good idea on what to look for. Big question is; what brands do folks recommend when upgrading suspension...
  3. Shopping experience with Rugged Ridge?

I ordered a pair of hood locks based on member feedback from Rugged Ridge and besides the initial confirmation email, I haven't received anything from them. Checked the order today and it shows 'waiting for fulfillment' Any positive or negative feedback with this company? Should I look...
  4. Sale at Green Diesel Engineering

For anyone thinking about getting the tune sold by Green Diesel Engineering, they have a 15% off deal going on this month. Just ordered mine last night. Looking forward to posting some thoughts about it and some before and after oil analysis results to see if it helps reduce the soot in the...
  5. Question about padding under the hood

So, I'm doing some maintenance today and was wondering if the padding under the hood is just for sound deadening? I read somewhere that the engineers tried to make the ecodiesel as quiet and un-diesel like as possible. Personally, I love the sound of a diesel motor and turbo whine. I did remove...
  6. Dealer trickery?

Finally got an appointment to get the fuel pump replaced, and thought it would be a good time to clone the spare ECU I bought in anticipation of a GDE tune. I was originally quoted $185 plus tax. Just got a call from them saying the new ECU has to be installed, then cloned, then removed and the...
  7. Non dealer diesel tech for our EcoDiesels?

Has anybody here found a diesel tech that knows our engines besides the Jeep dealer? Where I live I can find guys that specialize in Cummins, Powerstroke, etc... I know most of us are still under warranty and would have to go to Jeep to get regular work done, but what if you wanted some work...
  8. Gladiator for the save!

When you break your tractor but have a Gladiator and tow strap... ;)
  9. Texas Sold: Sport S wheels and tires for sale $300

I have 4 wheels and tires off of a 2022 Sport S Gladiator for sale. TPMS are on all 4. They have about 10k miles on them. Spare also, never been on the ground. $300 and/or possible trade for a Bestop twill Sunrider. Located between Waco and Temple Texas.
  10. Fuel neck mod happiness

So glad I got the mod done before going on vacation! Hit a couple gas stations in the Midwest that only had the "big boy" diesel nozzels, and it was so nice to just fill up and go without messing with the funnel. Plus, those pumps usually pump at a much higher volume, so using the funnel...
  11. Changing up the dash decorations

I'm shucking the ducks. If you're from Texas, you know the "Buc"!
  12. Still impressed with this truck

Just took a long (3000 miles) trip this past week and found myself on a section of road with a posted 80 mph speed limit. No one around, so I got her up to the "ton" to see how she would do. Smooth and steady, and had a lot more in her if I wanted. I know Jeeps aren't made for this, but it...
  13. Shout out to BAK Industries

Just wanted to share my experience with a small problem I had when my BAK x4s tonneau cover arrived. As I unrolled it I noticed the left side rear plastic cover piece had a broken tab and wouldn't stay in place. Called them up and got a customer service rep on the 2nd ring! Explained the issue...
  14. Texas Sold: 2004 Suzuki 650 V-Strom

For Sale: 2004 Suzuki 650 V Strom 42053 miles. Garage kept most of its life. Never crashed. New battery this year and tires have very few miles on them. I literally have only put a couple hundred miles on it the past couple of years. Just don’t ride it like I should. The following are most...
  15. Texas WTB- Willys or Texas Trail wheel

Looking for a Willys or Texas Trail (same) wheel to use as my spare to do 5 wheel rotations. Not opposed to buying a set, but the price would have to be right. Central Texas
  16. Got my first duck!

Was going out to have dinner with my son, and while in traffic I noticed out of the corner of my eye a vehicle getting kind of close to me. I look over and there's a guy in the passenger seat of a red Gladiator passing this duck to me. I said "sweet, this is my first duck!" He said, "it's his...
  17. Can't figure this dial out...

So yes, I read the owners manual and know that the dial on the left is supposed to dim lights below the dash. But, when I turn it I don't see anything in the interior changing. The one on the right dims and brightens everything, including the cup holders. So what am I missing here?
  18. It's the little things I love...

The more I own this vehicle the more I find to love about it. Granted my last 2 trucks were a 1994 Chevy S10 and my current 2002 Ford F250 7.3 Powerstroke, but some things about the Gladiator just stand out. I used the windshield sprayer for the first time today, and wow, like getting hit with a...
  19. Wheel paint question

I'm hoping to pick up my Sarge green Sport S the end of this month. I'm thinking about switching the wheels for all Mopar steel spare wheels and painting them the Sarge green. Question is, do I go glossy sheen and match the body, or more of a satin/dull for that military look?
