Didn’t like any of the options recommended by Fishbone and couldn’t find any good alternatives so I made my own with some 1” aluminum square tubing and some folding shelf brackets. Awning lays on the brackets when driving so the shelf brackets won’t be carrying any load until parked and deployed.

I'm waiting to receive my fishbone tackle full-height bed rack and want a sturdy way to mount an awning. These look pretty stout compared to the other ones I've seen. Weird that fishbone doesn't make any for their own rack.
