  1. 15 amp table saw off of inverter?

Is it possible to run a 15 amp table saw out in the woods using the 3.6 pentastar as a generator? It seems a shame to buy and haul a generator when there appears to be a perfectly good "generator" sitting right there in the engine bay. I assume I would need a 2000 watt inverter to convert the DC...
  2. Trickle charge auxiliary battery?

Unlike folks that are (understandably!) irritated by it, I actually want my Start/Stop system to function (yeah, I'm a tree hugging, Jeep loving, Prius hating liberal - a weird combination, I know). After an infrequent long road trip, start/stop will start working, but after a couple of days of...
  3. How to check if you've locked the doors

On my GM cars, I could check if the doors are locked by pulling on the door handle, even if I have the fob with me. To unlock the door with the fob on me, I had to depress the little button on the handle. With the Gladiator, however, I just have to pull on the handle (with the fob on me) to...
  4. Side Steps for the Wifey

Thinking that I won't likely go rock crawling (I couldn't bear to put a scratch in my baby), I added some side steps so my wife has an easier time getting in. Bonus, I can now wash the bird crap off the hard top. The steps were cheap, $145 from Amazon Warehouse. I guess I only want to empty one...
  5. Coolant under warranty?

I had my oil changed at Midas and they did a coolant pH check. The coolant is too acidic with a pH of around 6.5. They said the coolant should be under warranty (2022 Gladiator Rubicon). Is that true? I never heard of fluids being under warranty.
  6. Un-lift a Rough Country lift

My wife doesn't like climbing up into my Gladiator. Myself, I don't like the lifted look, looks out of balance to me (it was the only manual Gladiator around and it was a "relatively" good deal, so I went for it). So, I'm thinking of getting it de-lifted. What "new" parts will I need? For...
  7. Manual winch

I'm working on adding a manual winch. I need it to lift/rotate timber frame bents into place for my cabin build. The winch is rated for 3500 lbs and a bent is around 500 lbs, so no issues there. The winch will be attached to the mounting bracket which in turn will mount to the receiver...
  8. Cheapo roll-up tonneau cover

It looks great from a distance, but the tailgate could match up better. Most of the problem is due to the bed liner. I have a TonnoPro cover on my Ranger; this one seems every bit as good. $145 on Amazon.
  9. I got a Jeep!

My first Jeep (bought yesterday) and it's a bit more complicated than I'm used to. My previous 4-wheel drive vehicles, an International Scout and a GEO Tracker were kind of simple. You put it in 4-wheel drive then got out and manually locked the hubs. That was it. This 2022 Gladiator Rubicon...
