My guess is that it will have Jeep embossed on the tailgate and that it'll absolutely drop down like a traditional tailgate - no dual/side opening like the Ridgeline. Or at least, I'd be extremely surprised if it had dual opening functionality.

I don't think the rear quarter panel of the bed in the CAD model comes down as far as you're thinking. The very bottom of the back of the rear sides are still above the door sills in the CAD model, which matches up with the test mules, which I would pretty much guarantee are running production...

I doubt we'll see anything beyond what's currently available on the JK, and certainly not something along the lines of the Raptor - as much as I love the solid front axle, it's just not as well suited to high-speed bombing as IFS is, and FCA isn't going to be dropping a HEMI into the JT (or JL)...

To me the CAD looks exactly like the test mules with the 'final' bed (ie: second photo). Keep in mind the camo'ed rig has flares which greatly reduce the size appearance of the wheel wells, vs the CAD which has no flares. The vertical line on the camo in the second photo matches up pretty well...

Based off the frame measurement from 2000wj287 I'm guessing the JT's wheelbase at 136-139". (for comparison, the AEV Brute DC is 139"). The rear axle is pulled forward a bit compared to the Brute DC, but the front end on the JL/JT is longer than the JK's which could translate into the front axle...

Ok seriously, is no one else noticing the axle disconnect housing?? Those rear brakes are UUGE compared to the JK's. At 349mm that puts them larger than the "big rotor" upgrades for the JK, though just barely. I don't suppose we could get some housing measurements on the tube OD and wall...

Well there's a hood we haven't seen yet... Bed to cab transition is unlike any of the speculations I've seen so far. Now I'm really curious to see how the flares are done... Seems to confirm that the JT will have the fender vents like the JL.
