Same problem with my 2020 JTR Launch Ed stopping at 22%. Will eventually have it updated at a dealer. Is there a way to download it to a flash drive myself?
I have a Launch-Edition Gladiator. Love this thing. Mostly hauling stuff, very little crawling. It does love the snow! Summer time driving with solid shade top.
As a Elect Engr for 40 years and Automotive engineer making body, engine and suspension controllers for 8 years, I'm frustrated that...
Hoping they can add a stop button to uconnect. My daughter leaves the car running as she is in a rush at work at jumps out of her wrangler. Curious if the ESS function works still.
The Aux Switch install is equivalent to pushing a baseball thru a 1/2" hole. Technique is everything. I botched my pins on my JLU Rubicon. Written illustrations were poor at the time. This particular install was most aggravating of anything.
I do have 12 years of advance automotive electrical...
The power ratings on the aux switches are tied to fuse ratings, wire size, and wire temp rise, not source power ratings. Pulling too much current thru a harness leads to nasty fires that destroy vehicles from the inside.
The Aux switches are a must for any sort of add-on lighting. Best $345 you can spend. I installed this on my JL and it is not trivial getting the harness through the firewall gasket. Plus you need to have the factory link the option into the UConnect software. (Perhaps using the TAZER system...
Launch Edition Gladiator with no misfires. 35.9K miles. Only issues so far is touch screen non-responsive when very cold outside and ESS not working (some would call this a feature) because it claims the battery is charging. I am taking to dealer for 1st time to fix??? under warranty.
I bought my GCMLE to use on and off road, throw my dogs in the back seat (using a seat protector), driving on snow covered trails and hauling stuff. I wanted this vehicle for the past 20 years. It's more a bond I share with the rest of us fools spending $60K on a mid-size truck. So when one of...
We all know how many Launch Editions the world was blessed with, 4190. Tragically, some of these are already on the scrap heap. Train crash was epic, the reverse jump start was toast. Is there an accurate count of losses of Launch Edition gladiators?
Only option not included are the rubber floor mats. They are a must. I got the dealership to throw in the front and back mats for doing absolutely nothing to sell me a $60K vehicle.
For 35 years, Peugeot and Citroen had nothing to contribute to the US market. 35 years ago, while working for GM, I spent 3 weeks at the Peugeot proving grounds. Their styles were laughable and let's never forget about wrong sided turn signals or using reverse threads on every bolt.
Look at...
I was recently offer 15K for my 2008 Sahara Unlimited with 120K miles. That puts it a 50% after 11 years. Also, JKU typically hold 80% (direct sales) after 2 years so I'm not sure what this data is based on.
Looks like a launch edition with badge, speaker, front camera, and black wheels. Must be a vet and trade in someting to get full 8K off. Plus it isn't an GCMLE.!
