Currently the truck has a 3” lift. I did drive the first 10k miles with 295/70/18s on stock suspension with no clearance issues

since you guys have Overlands, I can give some input. Acceptable tire sizes from the tire police is that you can run either 295/70/18s or 285/75/18s. People has been running 12.5" wide tires on jeep 7.5" oem wheels for decades though. Heres the comparison of the two mentioned above, 295s St Maxx...

go rhino, I modified it to work with my side step. Easy enough to do, shortened it so it sits on my step. Its a bolt on for oem style side steps. Other ones you have to modify it.
