  1. Greg’s white JT max tow

We have something in common. M.E. here. I’m looking forward to doing the Mopar lift along with wheel spacers, new rims and larger tires. Had a CJ-8 Scrambler that we never should have sold. The JT feels a lot like it but more capable. Thanks for documenting the work that you did. It’s very...
  2. Greg’s white JT max tow

Read through all your posts. You don’t mention how easy or difficult the Mopar lift upgrade is to do. I’m guessing you’re a mechanic? Wheel alignments can be difficult. All the work you did looks like it was worth it because it looks awesome.
  3. Greg’s white JT max tow

The lift and tires look great. Did you install the Mopar lift kit yourself? How difficult was the installation? Who did the tire alignment afterwards? Did you have to switch rims for the width of the Toyo's? Sorry for all the questions. We've got your same truck but in red.
  4. Recommendations for light bar above the windshield with conventional lights (like Hella or KC)?

Thanks for the link. It looks like these are the closest to what I have in mind. It’s amazing how styling has changed and this setup is no longer in.
  5. Recommendations for light bar above the windshield with conventional lights (like Hella or KC)?

It looks like the lights will be too low with their option. Thanks for the reply though.
  6. Recommendations for light bar above the windshield with conventional lights (like Hella or KC)?

It seems as if that type of light bar is only made for the JK and not the JL/JT. Thanks for the info though.
  7. Recommendations for light bar above the windshield with conventional lights (like Hella or KC)?

Not particularly fond of the straight LED light bar attached to an upper windshield mounting bracket for the Jeep Gladiator. I’m sure it’s very functional though. Instead, I’m looking for a mounting kit with side rails to mount a light bar above the windshield with conventional lights (like...
  8. Another Stop/Start system issue - and a total dealer meltdown

Sorry to hear about what happened to your truck. We had the same message come up recently about the stop/start feature being disabled. We brought it to the dealership and were told that it’s happening because we’re doing a considerable amount of local driving with constant stopping and starting...
  9. Jeep Gladiator - happy owners? seeing scary stuff in the repair forums

Our Gladiator has only 2400 miles on it. Brought it to the dealership this morning to get a key fob programmed and found out that the computer has logged misfire codes. We haven’t noticed it misfiring though. Apparently this is a common problem with the 3.6L Pentastar engine. Not sure what’s...
  10. Safety Rating?

Looking at the crash test for the Wrangler JL, I'm very concerned about the rear passengers during a side impact collision. Unfortunately, there are no rear side impact airbags or side curtain airbags. I wonder if there is an aftermarket kit available to make it safer for rear passengers during...
  11. My Gladiator is the most polarizing vehicle I’ve ever owned.

F’ them. If it makes you happy that’s all that matters. I’m tired of people openly criticizing everything unless it pleases them personally. It’s a very versatile, large, capable, open air truck that’s not for everyone. QUOTE="NC_Overland, post: 515805, member: 28390"] I’ve owned a lot of...
  12. Mopar Rear Grab Handles w/ Soft Top

I just tried to install mine and had the same problem. The support bracket for the soft top is in the way. I hope the dealership allows a return. Mopar should either modify the handle attachment or put in a note that it is not compatible with soft top.
  13. Bluetooth Speaker Ready?

Does anyone know if the Jeep Gladiator comes Bluetooth Speaker ready? This is the speaker that is installed into the dock behind the rear seat. Apparently you need a dock for it to charge properly. The required charging dock Mopar part number is 6ND30TX7AC.
