I too am interested. I am happy to trade a little clearance for the geometry brackets that keep NVH and ride at a factory OEM level. Even EVO and TeraFlex are offering geometry brackets for the JT because it makes more sense for the overlanding style vs pure rock crawling. AEV is also using...
I have had mine for a little over a year now and couldn’t be happier. The adjustability, flexibility, and quality are all fantastic. It’s not the cheapest rack, but I also have the bak revolver so it’s a wonderful pairing.
I believe they cancelled the x4 and are only offering the x4s, which is essentially the same, just has a few upgrades. I would have bought the x4s if I had the choice when I got mine.
Since I used the rhino rtl600 feet, they just bolt to the horizontal cross beam with a tee-nut. Not sure how the frontrunner mount on. I’ve since switched to a bax revolver x4 with the xtrusion overland rack. I do still have the option to use my rhino rack vortex cross bars though with or...
I just started towing a 20’ toy hauler and added the airlift airbags. They made a world of difference on reducing sag. I did the install myself with limited tools in the driveway and it was straitforward. When I tow the trailer I still use a weight distribution hitch, but even just quick hook...
That’s a really great option! I have the same pioneer platform, I used the quick release rhino rack feet, but they wouldn’t clear the cover so if the rack was on I couldn’t roll it. I like this combo!

Just installed. Bak x4s with front runner...
My last jeep had a swing out tire carrier on the rear bumper and I found it a hassle for day to day use, even trail use. I’ll go to great lengths now to avoid another bumper swing out if I can help it.
Can’t wait to see more on the xtrusion brackets. I’m ready to pull the trigger, just waiting to see if they have the final design done yet and how stable it is in the bak rails. Also, the softtop has been available for years. My July 2019 build was premium twill softtop only. I’ve since added a...
I did, unfortunately there was no way to get the sliding brackets installed because of how the rails are tucked into the bed. There is a chance it could work if you took the rails off, put it in, and then reinstalled everything, but then the extender also didn’t work well because it was too wide...
Interesting! I already have the x4, but had been holding off hearing they would be making a rack specific for it. How well does the mount fit under the x4 rails?
Glad you found a solution! Sorry about the hole in seat I highly reccomend the PRP seat covers. They use very thick marine vinyl, and are diy install friendly. That would give you more protection with the kids seats, and cover up the hole.
