Our buddy TK Just put out a video saying the 5.2L dohc will be available for police to order this time next year. (Take that for what it's worth lol) Allegedly shows a 2-dr test mule that is supposed to have a 5.2L.
You can go ahead & pay a bunch of money: dealer wonāt touch it anymore, still pay a premium for fuel + still have to treat it, keep buying & changing fuel filters & plastic housings and o-rings and all that goes with it. Iām done with that nonsense.
For me the benefits did not outweigh the points for potential failure, so I sold mine last week. I will be getting older, more repairable tech at the cost of mpg, however cost-per-mile will likely only be pennies more once you factor in def, fuel cost difference, fuel treatment, fuel filters...

I have a 2025 JT Rubicon in '41 Green. Going to have a different hood in a few months. Wondering if anyone would be interested in my Rubi hood, would possibly swap for regular hood + cash. Jeep has ~3,500 miles on it, so hood is pristine.

Yup, they just have too much data to sort through. It's as if they need tons & tons more computing power to organize the info. I wonder how they could accomplish this? ;)
For shits & giggles I drove a Moab Wrangler yesterday. It was exactly what I expected = a ridiculously Awesome halo vehicle. If Jeep builds a V8 Gladiator that's the way they will go, instead of a 5.7L that would work for so many people.
I guess if you want powertrain/suspension options you have to go with Ram. I've lost count how many new packages they are rolling out, making Jeep look pretty lame tbh.
