The tuning that Brad provided really improves the drivability and enjoyment of my Jeep. I had a slight hesitation shifting from 3 to 4th gear. Its gone. I had a bump from 4th to 3rd when slowing to a stop. Its gone. The improved upshifting and throttle response, along with those issues...
My son and I finally got the JKS Rock Crawler 3.5” lift installed. Installing was a breeze, and the instructions were good. The hardest part was torquing the hardware after you busted your butt all day in the driveway. It took us about 7 hrs. The kit is well made and heavy duty. All the parts...
I just ordered the JKS JSPEC171PES crawl kit. I read as many reviews as i could stand and decide to go with it. Went with the Fox 2.0 performance shocks. I'll come back here some time in the future after installation and let you know how it does.
Swapped out the 4.10 gears for 4.88’s. I had a great time. Outside on the carport. Took 4 days total. 2 days per axle. At 70 years of age I’ve learned to work more slowly so I don‘t forget to do stuff. LOL!!! Thanks to Chevymitchell on the JL forum for great instructions on the procedure.
