I am trying to build a JT online, I want max tow, but I want the manual trans and normal all season tires. Max tow is $995 but it forces you to add the $600 A/T tires and $2000 auto trans, which really makes max tow $3600, and I am trying to keep this truck at or under $40K. Will a dealership be...
So I take it Jeep dropped the ball hard and didn't actually make the LE first? Confused as to why I am seeing regular Gladiators but no one has gotten a LE yet
I dunno its got a normal MI plate on it so this may be somehow legit. Could be an FCA employee?
(Yea I went and stalked their facebook, what of it? haha)
About the same plans I have.
Pondering on it more.... I kinda think I want my rack to extend the entire length of the top of the truck from the tailgate to the windshield. Extended over the roof of the hard top of the Jeep and probably have support bars come down the a pillars for more...
Good points all around. I did not even think about needing to be watertight. It's usually just gonna be me by myself so most stuff I'd throw in the cab, but I guess if I really wanted weather tight storage I think what I'd do is maybe get a soft camper shell that was shown a few posts back and...
I just want this rack for a RTT. I may make a clone of the Wayout concept when I buy a Gladiator. Already found the RTT and canopy now to see how the aftermarket does for racks.Only thing I'd change is making the rack mount to the bed floor as opposed to the bed rails. I feel like it'd be...
Most likely these since the JL is 5x5 and the fact the Wayout has smooth wheels with no slots

Minus the drawer system in the bed this is how I'd set up my Gladiator when I get one. I have said from the beginning that mine would be setup for overlanding. So a RTT, some jerry cans (but not in the bedsides cause I ain't a fabricatior), and some other tie downs for coolers, a nice roll out...
I am right there with you. I just priced out the Ranger in all 3 trims (Lariat FX4 is 42 with some options), the TRD Pro Taco ($45K with options) and ZR2 Colorado ($50k for diesel). It's not too easy to get them to $60K. I can see the Gladiator realistically being mid $40Ks. I hate the price...
Let's see....
Overland Trim
Auto
Track-Lock rear diff
Tow Package
LED Light Group
8.4 UConnect
Aux Switches
Punk'n with color matched top and flares
Remote Proximity Keyless Entry (Have this on my Mini and LOVE it)
Saddle Leather
Removable Wireless Speaker (Which means Alpine has to happen...
They probably are. I'm fairly confident Jeep wouldn't change the lug size, that'd make no sense especially since they are built on the same production line
Browsing on Jalopnik this popped up, pretty neat to see the differences between the JL and Gladiator under the skin! Didn't realize all the differences, pretty neat to see side by side comparisons of the two!
Edit: I did notice the header of the bed is a Jeep logo! I am sure there are more...
There is a video on YouTube under Jeep's channel showing some features. I was solidly against this whole convertible truck thing, it is a truck. Why does the top even need to come off? Well I am kinda sold on this look with the windshield up and doors off but just the top of the top on the...
Yea the Ram is rated at 305 horse 269 tq whereas the JL is 285/260. Negligibly different and the JL truck is way lighter than the Ram, so back to my original hypothesis which is: The Jeep Truck will be fine. And some other facts to support my theory... The Taco is at 278/265 and...
