Iām not with Harker Outdoors, but I have an EDC and love it for the same reasons you stated.
1). That is an option. I donāt have it but have seen Camās unit that has side panels that open up
2) I never unzip my āannexā. It just lays flat and stores very well on top of the sleeping platform just...
Just got back from a short but very awesome trip to the Wind River Mountains. The Shoshone National Forest is only about a 2.5 hour drive from where I live but once we got to the Forest, it took us 2 hours to go 6.8 miles to our very remote campground. It wasnāt all that technical of a drive...
A quick stop for lunch on our way from Wyoming to Texas. I had forgotten how beautiful the drive from Durango to Pagosa Springs is. Need to go back soon and stay longer! Iām still loving my Harker Outdoors camper! It is so easy to put up and take down. This photo shows how the back hatch...
Unfortunately we got rained out on PINS...but I sure enjoyed the nap in my Harker Outdoors EDC! Only takes a second to pop the top and crawl into bed. I donāt even have to unload my pickup bed. Love my EDC!
The hot water system is from Joolca. I took measurements of the unit and put it in a size appropriate Pelican box, then mounted that to my L rail. I think it will work out well but I did learn that Iāll probably never take enough water to take a shower (or two). It does great for washing dishes...
Last November we drove to Whitmore Canyon. Iām not sure if thats the same as Whitmore wash. You could hike to the bottom (Colorado River) of Whitmore Canyon but not drive to the bottom.
I finally got around to mounting my hot water heater system. I know itās a little thing, but itās one more thing off my list of to doās š. It fit nicely in a Pelican 1555.
Just got back from a short trip to the Grand Canyon Parashant. Still loving my EDC by Harker Outdoors. Getting in and out of the camper is no issue at all. I even love the little things you might not usually consider: like the custom designed battery box for our solar system. Great place for my...
Just returned from another remarkable adventure with my EDC camper by Harker Outdoors. Even though it was spring break in Utah, we were almost the only ones out in the wilderness in the Grand Canyon Parashant! Spent a few days at Mt. Trumbull camping on BLM land. Then headed over to Nampaweap...
Yes, you should be able to attach an awning to the table side on or above the L Track. I just bought an awning but havenāt installed it yet. Iām not certain which side I want to put it on though. Iāll post a photo after I install it.
You must have gotten into yesterdayās storm! i Wish I had taken a picture of mine the night I drove through Park City in a blizzard. Snow and ice completely packed the headlight well. Lesson learned: donāt drive in a blizzard at night in your Jeep!!
Maybe this is a better reference. Iām standing in the pickup bed. The sleeping bed is in the stowed position above me. You can see the āstrutsā on each side that holds the bed up or allows it to be pulled down.
Sorry about the pictures. I am not affiliated with Harker Outdoors and, as such, am not a professional photographer. I do have the solar package which includes two outside lights and 3 inside lights. I just didnāt take any pictures with the lights on! The sleeping platform has struts that allow...
So this is with the ādoorā completely zipped up. If you enlarge the picture, you can see the zipper in the middle (between the two screens) that you can open to access the inside. Hope this helps.
Itās possible your concern comes from the picture I posted with the annex wide open. Thatās the good thing about the annex....you can leave it wide open if youāre not worried about bugs, dust, etc., but you can also zip it shut and just unzip the middle of the door to get in. Let me post another...
Didnāt exactly overland this week, but did get to spend some relaxing time near Lake Havasu and Lake Mead. I am absolutely loving my EDC by Harker Outdoors.
