My ā17 Taco doesnāt have an available brake controller or sway control. Sway control would be nice along with brake control for my teardrop if it ever gets built.
I plan on using mine like my Taco. Weekend trips camping, fishing and hiking. Have a barebones overland setup, one day Iāll have a small pull behind teardrop like a Hiker Trailer.
I can see some dealers getting the JT early, this way the masses can get a look at it before itās available to buy. Iād make a road trip just to get a look at one.
I use mine to keep me off the ground. I have a habit of putting a ground tent in a low spot and getting wet in the rain. For me itās easier but they do have drawbacks. Mine stays on my truck year round, plus it has the added benefit of a place to stay if Iāve had a little to much to drink.

I wouldnāt rely just on the rails. One like the link uses the bedrail for support and the rails to secure it.
