  1. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Buy one of these polarity testers to make sure all the speakers are in phase...
  2. Just got my JTR back from paint repair

Because they are sealed on with paint, it's virtually impossible to remove the door hinge bolts for the first time without some damage. I buy a set of new bolts for the body shop to paint with the rest of the body parts for me to install later. You can install the new bolts with minimal damage...
  3. Keep the mud on your tires NOT your sound system.

Put some Infinity Reference REF-375TX or similar tweeters in the dash to get clear highs. Putting a coax in there will result in it's mid range over powering your upgraded sound bar speakers.
  4. Is it worth it to change the lower dash speakers out

I put tweeters in the upper dash and 6.5s in the sound bar. Didn't touch the lower dash and it sounds great. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/base-system-speaker-upgrade.75015/post-1562924
  5. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I don't remember off the top of my head, but the Metra adapters were correct as is. Here's my post about my speaker install process. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/base-system-speaker-upgrade.75015/post-1562924
  6. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

When checking polarity, keep in mind that from the factory the speakers are wired with negative polarity, so you'll want them wired with negative polarity to keep them in phase with the rest of the factory speakers.
  7. Gator paint color match

I ordered and installed a painted cowl from Distinction Applied and it's a much better color match than the dealer paint. The dealer has agreed to fix the paint mismatch, it goes back in in 2 weeks.
  8. IBS reset and charging batteries

You reset the IBS, but that didn't clear the error.
  9. IBS reset and charging batteries

It looks like your aux battery is still connected, is there power to the dash electronics?
  10. IBS reset and charging batteries

I've had to disconnect both battery cables to remove all power from the jeep to clear the error light. The error light can also be triggered by an engine malfunction that disables the ESS system.
  11. Trim Restore RUINED Taillight Housing?

Try hand buffing the clear lens with some PlastX and a soft cloth.
  12. Looking for OEM JT Rear Quarter Rock Sliders for Husband's Bday!!!

Used OEM are hard to find. Bestop makes a set that's very similar to OEM. Here's a link to my marketplace post where I compare the Bestop to the OEM. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/bestop-bed-sliders-200.60618/post-998746
  13. 3.6L ESS Battery Cable Diagram

Some do report removing those cables, but you still have to provide battery power to N1 for the system electronics.
  14. Gator paint color match

I think I'll order something from them to see how well it matches.
  15. Gator paint color match

It's not an issue with faded paint, it's a failure to match the paint. I'm pretty sure they would paint the hood, cowl and windshield to match, but I don't want a one off shade of Gator due to possible future paint matching issues.
  16. Recommendations for "Stage 1" sound upgrade

Here's what I did to my JL and JT. Still liking the sound. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/base-system-speaker-upgrade.75015/post-1562924
  17. Gator paint color match

Through the corrosion warranty I just had the doors and tailgate replaced on my Gator colored JT and I'm not happy with the paint match. Has anybody had any experience good or bad with a body shop matching the Gator paint color? I'm wondering if it's a problem specific to my Jeep dealer's body...
  18. Peace of mind at last! Replaced main battery with a premium H7/Group 94 battery

The aux battery can't (shouldn't) be used to power a winch, but it can power a restart if the main battery gets drained powering a winch.
  19. Throttle Lag and Inconsistency

Here's a link to more detailed instructions that were posted on the wrangler forum. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/recall-notice-21v-028-1-28-21-manual-transmission-clutch-overheat-covers-all-2018-2021-jeep-wranglers-produced-by-january-22-2021.65706/post-1533883
