Today was the first day the Vin list was published. So No, it wouldn't have been there yesterday. Today was the official notification date with vins. There could have been some yesterday, but all notifications stated 6/11 for Vin lookup availability
I've also decided to build my own mount and incab are outlets. All in it was about $70 for me to make my own mount. I used a piece of 24x12 16Ga steel for the mount from local tractor supply. Cut to fit with Jig saw. Mocked everything up, drilled holes and painted with primer and 4 or 5 good...
In the middle of adding my standard ARB Twin into my new 23 Gladiator, I had the opportunity to buy an almost new Brushless Twin at a good discount. The biggest issue with the Brushless Twin is the harness is almost all one piece and a mess. The new ARB Brushless Twin Wiring harness is...
I have the infinite offroad kit on my sport with Rubicon flares. My only Critique is the White light is not very bright. The Amber is pretty bright. No Hyperflash issues with stock hallogen, but i did program mine with Alfaobd for DRL and LED, No Stutter issues. I got them used with cut wires...
I got my twill version on Facebook Marketplace for $375. Average used price I see is $500. Xtreme terain has them in open box quite often. I've been happy with mine. It does heat up with direct sun more than the hard top and makes more noise on the interstate.
Just finished my swap. Rubicon chopped flares also have aluminum inner fenders and rubicon suspension on my sport. Plenty of room for 35s with no lift and full articulation. These are 33s from a mohave. 285/70/17. Using infinite offroad frnder chop brackets. Grimm front liners for the arb...
Had the same issue with my 23 Gladiator sport. They don't sit flush with the mic opening without breaking off the original mic holding tabs. I didn't want to break those so I just positioned them over the holes and taped them down. For Wiring I cut the pins on the the old mics at the wire...
Steering does not lock on gladiator. It does on my LJ, I just have to keep key in ignition and unlocked.
Jackknifing only occurs when trying to reverse with a flat tow as the front steering wheel is unlocked and will quickly rotate. Flying J Truck Stops are your friend. They have RV Gas pumps...
I've been towing my LJ for the past couple of years. No Issues. Sounds like he had vehicle issues. Prepping my 23 gladiator to tow now. The most difficult thing about flat towing is not being able to back up in most instances. I have to plan where I get my fuel. In 1 or two scenerios where we...
The great thing about the mod to keep fog lights on with high beam is you get to choose when your fog lights are on and when they aren't depending on driving conditions. It's not decided for you by the nanny state.
From what I've read, it's about a rule that you can't have more than 4 forward facing lights on the roads at one time. The old days when standard US lighting had crap cutoffs, they limit the amount of light that was allowed to be produced facing forward. Example would be a vehicle that has...
Not an issue in Florida. No Inspections here. Wouldn't be an issue in NC either. They don't care as long as the lights come on. Besides anyone that can make the change themselves, can revert, get it inspected then change back again. Takes 5 minutes with AlfaOBD.
My 23 sport has Hallogen lighting all the way around. I installed a Mopar Steel bumper that was a takeoff with stock LED fog lights. Programmed the Fogs to be DRL and to not drop out with highbeam with AlfaOBD. It was all in programming. Wasn't able to find any topics on this.
Program
DRL...
So Besides a "badge" or paint scheme does the Launch Edition give you anything over a standard fully loaded Rubicon? No. If it was something special, i.e. motor(Hemi), Drivetrain package, Or Something to actually differentiate itself, then it may be interesting. Putting a sticker on it and...
This thread is a little funny. I've owned lots of Jeep's. I've also hauled plywood on most of them. The CJ and LJ was on the roll bars. If the bed don't work the roll bars will.
Considering the gladiator as a replacement for my LJ to be a little more family friendly. Unless it we're to get wrecked I would most likely drive it into the ground. The issue with the autos is the PCM. They are integrated with the ecm. Double the failure point. Look up the Jeep LJ auto PCM...
