I actually feel lucky it took me so long. I went around 45k with just a tiny chip till i finally got a real crack. itās not right in my line of sight so Iām not even going to bother getting it fixed unless it gets worse.
Ok, so basically all youāre doing is disconnecting the aux from the system in a way so as not to throw a code and as a consequence prevents the shitty aux from draining the main?
Well that makes more sense now. I was under the impression it was a way to keep the ESS from working in the first place.
So I followed the directions in multiple threads - most of which you e participated in. Iāve done nothing to it and obviously donāt fully understand the process or I wouldnāt be asking. So again, my question is: is it possible for it to work without the F42 fuse and the terminal disconnected?
Ok, this is a weird one. I disabled it more than a year ago but now all of a sudden itās started intermittently working again on its on.
Can anybody tell me how thatās even possible with the fuse pulled and the battery terminal disconnected?
So I just recently learned about these: https://colbyvalve.com/ from another thread (Didnāt want to hijack it).
I already carry replacement stems and plugs but wasnāt even aware you could replace the whole valve from outside. Ive needed to replace the stems a few times and was glad to have them...
I thought the same thing. Not even close to the hardest rescue, but you gotta get those clicks. He gets mine regardless. Even without the clickbait titles. Itās a fun show.
Someone in the comments mentioned carrying spare valve stems you could install from the outside. I never heard of them. Anybody know anything about them?
